Not the most interesting book on the Royal Bavy, perhaps I ought to have researched it better before buying.

this book was brought to the World originally by my late father, Admiral of the Fleet Lord "Terry" Lewin; he encouraged "Bushy" Shrub, and later Tony Sainsbury to create the first edition and then subsequent works. They are all gone now so its a pleasure to see that the dynamic work of keeping up with the memorable activities and actions of the RN are still in good hands. For those interested in history, the Royal Navy, indeed the history of our Great Britain, this book is an essential work to be used every day, a true "Did you know...." conversation opener in any circle.Tim Lewin
