Excellent replacement part
The fan on our gas fireplace was being very temperamental and only coming on sometimes and then not switching off. Replaced it with this and I’ve had zero problems, works perfectly now!

This was a good replacement for my magic heat exchanger. So far works great

Range a bit big
This didn't fit exactly as the old but it worked. The next time I will purchase a magnetic fan switch. The range of this switch is substantially different than the one it replaced. I like that it starts earlier, at a lower temperature however it takes much, much longer to turn the fan off.

Good replacement for Magic Heat heat reclaimer thermal fan switch.
I have an older Magic Heat heat reclaimer. Last week the thermal fan switch quit working. Ordered this one and now my reclaimer is working again. The old (original) switch kicked in at 155 degrees. This new switch kicks in at 115 degrees. So far, so good. Would buy again.

Do not use this product.
Switch shorted to ground immediately after install. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. I got lucky it shorted while I was there waiting for the fan to kick on.

Switch had detached from the bracket
Switch was delivered in a plastic package and it was detached from the bracket. I was able to crimp the housing on the edge and hope it will stay in place and not fall apart again.

Tried a few of these. This one seems to work well. Note this is a smaller thermo-disk from the old style, but bracket fits. This has a better temp range, turns on quickly, and turns off at a proper time after cool-down. We will see how long this one lasts, as on average, I see this part seems to go after about 5 years.

Got this to replace my old thermal switch that was taking over an hour to reset after the fireplace was cold. This one turns the fan off after about 20 - 25 minutes after I turn off the fireplace - perfect!
