Hot Chocolate Design Women's Tote Bags

This year I was searching for a unique and practical Christmas gift for my wife, and I stumbled upon Hot Chocolate Designs tote bags. For reference to help men with their decision, my wife is in her mid 40's and takes pride in being the "cool aunt" when choosing Birthday & Christmas gifts for our nieces and nephews. She has an eye for style and design, within reason. In many ways she's old school BUT she also appreciates changing things up - like changing out the curtains in our house when the seasons change. Hope that helps ;-) So, with that said, while scanning Amazon two weeks before Christmas, the bright, multi colored designs of Hot Chocolate Designs totes caught my eye. Especially Rico's Tacos and the Russian Stacking Dolls (Matryoshka). Totes usually are boring and dull, and these looked unique and fun. I know my wife hauls a ton of stuff to work each day, so I figured I was on to a good gift idea. I read the Amazon reviews, and for the most part everyone that bought one agreed that they were well made, sturdy & up to the task, had unique graphics, and gathered lots of positive compliments. So, after a LOT of looking at all the designs that were available, I narrowed it down and I wound up getting her the Russian Stacking Dolls, and my wife loves it! The box that the tote comes in has unique graphics, so when she ripped off all of the Christmas paper, she was scratching her head as to wondering what was inside. It was great to watch the whole gift opening process. When she finally opened the box and pulled out the tote, a smile came across her face. She was pleasantly surprised that I thought so far "out of the box" and was able to buy her something so unique and fashionable all on my own - LOL! BTW - I showed her the other designs that were available and she said that Rico's Tacos was a cool and totally acceptable choice. She went on to say that the "Frankenstein & Bride of Frankenstein" tote would be great for her best friend, because she got married on Halloween - but I digress... In no time flat my wife transferred all of her stuff from her purse to the new tote. She appreciates the heavy-duty construction of the bag, the inside zippered pocket (for her keys), as well as the OUTSIDE zipper that keeps the tote closed and reasonably secure. She also commented on the length of the shoulder straps - they're sturdy, and not too long, not too short - they're "just right" - designed by someone that actually used the tote for it's intended purpose. Since sporting her new tote, my wife has got comments from everyone at her job as well as co-workers that visit her from other locations. Overall - Two Thumbs UP to the graphic & physical design crews at Hot Chocolate Design - I hope to see more unique and fun tote designs from them in the future!

I LOVE this bag and get TONS of compliments on it! It's a great size - I can fit my 13" Macbook Pro in it so I can use it for work and it also holds of my regular stuff: makeup, laptop & phone chargers, and miscellaneous other items. The only thing I would change is I wish there were more internal pockets. There is one smallish zipper pocket for valuables, though my wallet is too long for it. The colors are bright, the bag feels very sturdy, the zipper works smoothly, it's SUCH a great bag! It fits under airline seats only if you turn it sideways, but then it's fine. I love this bag.

This bag! It’s shockingly gorgeous and incredibly well made. I’ve been on the Hot Chocolate shoe train for a while now, and their design and quality have proven to be impeccable. The glittery portions of the bag are so sparkly, it makes your heart melt (I mean, if you like glitter). The front panel (robot!) and the back (ray gun!) are gorgeous. The inside is big enough to carry many things smaller than the size of a bread box, and there is a small inner zipped pocket. I’m able to fit all of my daily lady garbage plus my iPad and self contained beverage of choice. The handles don’t dig or cut into a shoulder even when the bag is relatively loaded down. The only improvement suggestions I could think to make would possibly be to have a cross body conversion option, and to sneak at least one pocket into the outside for ready accessibility to often grabbed items like keys or a phone. This bag is truly exquisite, and I recommend it highly. Also! The box it comes in is so cool, but I’m not spoiling the surprise.

I love this tote bag and I get lots of compliments on it. It is of a higher quality than I expected. The sides and trim are a very thick, though plastic that is SO glittery. (I have the space design with the robot.) The art panels are silky, and they are relatively resistant to stains. This bag has been rained on many times, and it never showed the moisture. I did spill coffee on it already, but the stain is very faint and I was able to get a lot of it out. I also love that it zips closed for those times you want your items to be more secure, and this bag will fit everything you need for the day.

Even more beautiful in person than pictured. Large enough to carry my wallet, tablet, water bottle, hat, and small sweater all without looking or feeling bulky. We call it my magic Mary Popins bag because it holds so much more than it looks like it should and remains stylish and beautiful. If I had one criticism it would be that I would to have feet on the bottom to protect the fabric bottom of the bag. (I may look into having some added to mine because I want it to last forever.) Otherwise it does seem to be very very well made and will no doubt last years and years without worry. It is a gorgeous and unique bag and I am so delighted that Hot Chocolate is branching out and can’t wait to see what it next. Be sure to check their website for upcoming releases.

Amazing bag...high quality construction. Silver portion is plastic, but colored design is fabric. I was hoping for full plastic, but it is so vibrant and beautiful I can't bring myself to return it. The maker says it can be wiped down with water, so I'm giving it a whirl and going to hope for the best. Straps are flat and just long enough so I don't have to contort my wrist and arm to get it it on and off my shoulder. It holds its' body shape for ease of loading contents, has a quality zipper, and is surprisingly lightweight.

Hot Chocolate designs speak for themselves. with such a quirky & lighthearted look, you don’t have to be a 12 year old girl in order to be in love with, carry, and brag about this bag to strangers on the street when you notice them staring at it, too. while they do offer designs to appeal to all, i wish they would rotate and offer new designs regularly; as of about a year now, i haven’t seen any new ones pop up. my only caveat to those considering adding one to their collection is paying attention to the fact that while it is wonderfully roomy, it can get a little heavy; as in, once you add your belongings to it then it might be a little much for a whole day of hauling around.

I love the artwork. Considering how inexpensive the bag is, I was not sure about the quality. But I was pleasantly surprised at how perfect it is! All the stitching is so well done, perfect in fact. The inside of the bag has an adorable print, everything is so perfect, that I feel like I could take rulers and levels and prove that it's completely symmetrical. I understand why everyone goes crazy for Hot Chocolate products. This bag is nicer than my 500 FRAME tote or my my rag & bone bags. I was seriously shocked at the quality you get for such a reasonable price

sie sieht genauso aus wie auf dem Bild und ist ziemlich groß. Allerdings muss man bedenken, dass Handtaschenmodels offensichtlich nur 1,40m groß und 40 kg schwer sein dürfen, denn sooo groß wie auf dem Bild ist sie dann doch nicht. :-) Sie ist etwas steif, so dass sie ihre Form behält, auch wenn der Reissverschluss geschlossen ist. Sehr schön verarbeitet, und der Backofenkarton ist ja schon wieder der Knaller. Sogar der formgebende Karton IN der Tasche war schön bedruckt… Auch hier darf man nicht zu lange überlegen, denn die (für mich!) schönen Motive sind ruckzuck weg.

Pris motif tacos piment ? Très belle finition . Livre dans une belle boîte ...euh que j' ai gardé pour ranger. Sac très pratique lavable solide et super original les bretelles sont de la bonne taille et ne font pas mal aux épaules. Stylé mais faut assumé !!!!
