I originally purchased this after researching ways to avoid jet lag. I liked everything I read about the company and the research into developing the product. My first order happened to arrive on an evening when my family and I spent hours together catching up over dinner accompanied by wine.We're all at an age where alcohol is great in the moment, but the night time is filled with self-flagellation sounding like, "Why did I do that? I know better!" Well, to prevent that we decided to rip into our pouches of Zaca. First impression: tasty. What happened after that was truly remarkable--we all felt good the next day. Not fine, but shockingly good. Hydrated. Refreshed.We have some travel coming up and can't wait to test it out for jet lag. These packets are so easy to stash and have available. For now though, I will keep it on hand for when good times push beyond better judgment. : )

I used this to prepare for my hike that has a huge altitude adjustment. Took it in the morning prior to the hike and felt great throughout the whole hike! I really do recommend and would buy again.

Zaca really does work as a "go to" travel companion on long flights & internationally. Just got back from Hawaii and ate one every 2-3hrs in flight, arrived feeling much less bedraggled than usual on 7+hr flight. They are small and easy to pack and the two tablet packaging is convenient. Also works wonders if a night out was 'too much fun' and you want to feel better faster. The drop of one star is because the price feels high and makes it difficult to justify the cost. My companion travelers won't spend that much. As a fan it would be nice if they had a 10 or 12 pack at a lower per item cost, I would buy more regularly if that were the case.
