Yum!
After trying this for the first time, I immediately hopped back on Amazon to buy more. The texture is more like dried fruit than meat but the smoked flavor makes it a good meat sub. I’ve diced it up and ate with pasta but imagine it would also be great on salads, charcuterie, and more! Sooooo good.

Salami review
The only thing "salami-like" about this product is its cylindrical shape. It is essentially a log of fig paste, with a weird slightly spicy/smokey flavor. I like salami and I like fig spreads- I could not eat this! Vegetarian salami still has a lot of work to do.

Yummy!
Very delicious! Perfect for a vegan charcuterie board.

Tastes like sweet figs
If you want to be able to slice a dried fig role this is great. As salami, it tastes like dried fig with seasonings. Too sweet. It needs less fig, more garlic, pepper, etc.

Smokey Figgy crunchy
It's definitely weird on it's own, but I suspect with some interesting crackers and cheese, might be amazing! Will be a conversation item at any gathering! The smoky flavor is VERY present.

Perfect for veggie pizza
To be clear I didn’t expect this to taste like salami (just read the ingredients!). It was a tasty addition to our vegetarian pizza (goat cheese, walnuts, caramelized red onion) and I’ll also use it for a cheese board when friends visit.

Not really salami, but a tasty hors d'oeuvre
I thought this would be salami with fig in it, but it's fig pressed into the shape and texture of salami. Strongly figgy, too; I couldn't really taste the paprika or pepper. Though it was unexpected, it was certainly delicious with crackers and cheese. I ordered it again!

Just tastes like figs
I can’t emphasize enough how much this should not be referred to as salami. It’s just dried fruit. I was hoping for more of a savory flavor like salami, since - ya know - the product is referred to as salami. But no, it’s incredibly figgy-sweet.
