The device is way too expensive for what one gets. But it works.I rated the flavor-question low because it is not the device that dds the flavour but the wood chips or dust you use. That said, the flavour is great.Easy to use. You need one of those refillable stick-lighters (or other)Lots of possibilities what to do with it. Smoked sea salt; blended smoky soups; salads and cheese; and of course fish and meat.

I've been tempted by a smoking gun for some time now for smoking meats / drink theatre... but I didn't want to fork out £60 or so on a branded one. The Hendi smoke infuser was on amazon for £16 so I thought I'd take a chance, given that there were no reviews of it on amazon.I wasn't expecting much but I'm pleased to report that it works very well!! The instructions are written in such a small font that you need a magnifying glass to read them, and they are vague in places (especially around how to clean the appliance)! However, it's pretty easy to set up and use, and the nozzle produced a good constant stream of smoke on my first attempt.Build quality seems reasonable too. For £16 it's excellent value for money and provides a good introduction to the world of cold-smoking.

I wanted to bring a smokey note to the meats I cook, and since I live in a flat a proper barbecue is out of the question. Surely, you can't compare a smoke gun with a proper long and slow smoker, but for the price it is worth it. Other brands sell this identical product, but with a different logo, for twice the price and the ones from the big brands are 4x 5x more expensive. I've only used for a couple of times, so I cannot comment on the longevity and reliability of the product.

The unit delivers 'smoke' very quickly and you have to be careful not to overdo the smokin. It can smoke up a room very quickly. That having been said it effectively smoked our sliced duck breast very nicely in a short period of time

I bought this item and it didn’t come with sliding panel for the batteries. It is worthless now. Ordered it to hotel in London during my visit there... from Singapore I unable to contact seller...
