Princeton Tec Remix LED Headlamp (300 Lumens, Black w/Red LEDs), One Size (RMX300-RD-BK)

The light shines bright, it's comfortable to wear, and it's durable. My husband has dogs, and he uses this every night to help him see where to step and where not to step/pick up poop.

Seems to be a good little headlamp for hunting. Turns on red so you don’t have to blind yourself cycling through to red. Easy to switch to white light. AAA batteries so you can swap in the field if it dies, not a fan of rechargeable ones, where battery is unknown and fire hazards. My uncle burned up a bedroom with 1. Look forward to putting it to work next week.

This was a replacement for my older Remix which I dropped and broke the battery door unfortunately. Love this lamp, specially the red for viewing animals in the dark and not blinding them. Highly recommend.

First power on is the red light so that your night vision is not affected. All others you must push and hold for red light to come on. Don’t push long enough and you’ll get white light.

I'm an avid surfcaster here on Long Island. A head/neck light is essential. Princeton tech is the way to go, however this is my second one. I bought the same one about a year ago, great light, use it very often. Past fishing trip I dropped it in the parking lot and the battery door broke and it was done. I ordered it again in a pinch and I'l try not to drop it. So just be careful.

I am in the military and use headlamps extensively while in the field and this one is great. The white light is bright and very wide. Usually these kinds of headlamps have a less than desirable red light since most people don't use that part as much as the white light, but his headlamp has an amazing red light! I would say the best red light I have owned and I've been through probably 5 headlamps over the years. I haven't had to test it for water-proofness yet, but I expect it to perform well in any condition.

I've used the Princeton Tech remix headlamp for years now and I'm buying another now just to have as a back-up. The headlamp is light, easy to use and dependable. I appreciate that it goes to red lens first and only changes to white light after a short time holding down the button which helps to avoid a blinding flash of light when turning the lamp on.

This headlamp was great, then the light began to shutter after about 8 total hours of use. Replaced the battery and it still shutters. Never dropped it kept it dry.
