Noctua NA-SEC1 chromax.Black, 3-Pin/4-Pin Extension Cables (30cm, Black)

Great 4-pin connector extensions for my Noctua Fans. They are flexible, durable and have all the appearance of being high quality connecter extensions. Having described what they look from the outside I will know give my opinion on how they perform. I have an Asus Maximus VII Hero. Letting the system BIOS UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) manage the fans by utilizing four pin connectors is relaxing for both me and the computer. After two months there have been no discernible hiccoughs in fan performance.

Originally i was not aware if i needed Fan cable extensions but seeing that i had to change of motherboard since the originally intended to buy was not available and the alternative had the fan connectors to the middle bottom side of the board (and therefore, the case), so i ordered this set and fortunately they saved me from a problem since the cables from the fans were not long enough to reach the other connectors. Placed the extensions, they ran well with the cable management and case's airflow is going pretty fine. As all Noctua components i have i recommend their quality and quietness.

I created a system to provide cooling for an AV cabinet in a closet. Components include Aventage, Emotiva and Oppo. The cooling equipment used includes: 1. Noctua Fans (3) (model# NF-S12A PWM) 2. Noctua Fan controller (model# NA-FC1) 3. Noctua Extension cables (model# NA-SEC1) 4. Cablemod's molex to SATA cable (model# CM-CAB-MSAP 45KK-R) 5. Coolerguys AC power adaptor (110V AC to DC 12V Power Supply with 4 pin Molex) The fans are laid flat on top of the receiver and amplifier pulling air up through the units. Of course, the anti-vibration corner pieces protect the AV equipment and prevent the fans from moving around. There is approximately 4" between the top of each AV component and the shelf above. This seems to allow sufficient air circulation. All Noctua components were packaged nicely and functioned perfectly out of the box. Connections are solid. Using the fans full speed, they are very quiet and are effective in keeping the components at less than 82F degrees. The Noctua Fan Controller is tiny -- about the size of a man's thumb. When setting up the system, I reached out to Noctua for some technical assistance. They were prompt and provided excellent guidance on connecting the power supply to the speed control (Cablemod's connector). The Cablemod's cable has solid connections and functions well. The only thing that would be nice is an outer sheath to keep all four wires together for a cleaner appearance. The Coolerguys AC power adaptor appears well made and functions well to power the three fans. Overall, the system has been running for about 1 month and I am quite satisfied with each of the components and would recommend them to anyone looking for an effective cooling system for an AV cabinet.

Extension cable for fans, do far it works after years using it

Works as intended. Added a little length to a fan cable so I could route it through the cable management holes. PC looks tidy on the inside. More cables than I needed but honestly that's never a problem. Doesn't hurt to have backups if I decide to reroute all my cables in the future.

I had a fan quit on me a few weeks ago. While I was trouble shooting, I realized the cord was damaged. After some cable management, my fan is back to running.

Does what you need it to do...extend case fan cable length

Needed a few of these so the fans could reach my fan controller (I use a bequiet! full tower case) and these worked well. I could have bought any fan extensions but I got these because I like the Noctua brand and wanted to support them.

I used these extension cables - to install fans on some parts of my case (Cooler Master C700M) that were hard to reach or hard to plug into the motherboard. They work for the purpose that they're intended for - and are perfect for my build because they match the sleeved cables that came with my Noctua NF-F12 fans. · The cables are very flexible and easy to cable manage. · They are nicely sleeved and have good solid connectors that are easy to connect and disconnect as needed. I am pretty picky about how my cables are run. When I do a PC build, I like everything nice and tidy. These ended up being a perfect length to make the connections and not have a lot of cable to hide. Overall, these extension cables did exactly what I bought them for. Definitely recommended!

Using in Corsair 5000d Airflow, which is a fairly big case. Reaches motherboard fan headers while being routed in the back of the case. Feels like good quality materials.

Cavi e scatola così sono, come le foto reclamizzate dalla Noctua (anche se la scatola è di color nero/marrone). La fattura è più che buona, sia dei cavi, sia dei connettori che del rivestimento avvolgi cavo. Lo stesso vale per la scatola di cartone. I cavi sono a 4 pin e 4 fili conduttori, in modo da poter pilotare le ventole che si andranno a connettere. La lunghezza dei cavi è quella dichiarata. Anzi, dopo essere stati svolti, anche senza considerare i tratti ad inserzione dei connettori, la lunghezza resta comunque di 30cm abbondanti. Magari un prezzo del -10% o -15% minore li renderebbe ancora più appetibili.
