Very sturdy and looks great. These are solid. They do not move and work great. Only con is it does block the sun visor from going all the way against the driver or passenger window. Not a big deal to me. When installing don’t tighten the bolts until you get both in.

This kit is well worth the money..... Easy installation, they look awesome and they will hold anyone...!!! All you need is a 13mm socket wrench to remove the 4 factory 8mm bolts. These 4 bolts are SUPER tight so if you try to loosen them with just a battery powered drill with a socket on it, you'll break your wrist or crack your windshield with the gun. By hand with a socket wrench is easiest unless you have an air Impact gun to remove them. After removing the stock bolts, screw the new bolts in a few turns to get the threads seated then remove, you'll be glad you did... Using the allen wrench provided might be slower, but you won't chance stripping the threads by using a powered gun. One more thing, holding both handles side by side with the holes on top, the left hole faces the driver side, right hole towards the passenger side. The instructions DON'T tell you this and it's important for the correct install. Also, when removing the lower 8mm bolt, IT WILL.... fall behind the plastic if you don't use a magnet or have a magnetic socket. I used a thin 1/4" retractable antenna magnet held under the socket and sure enough it caught it.... :) Hope this helps, these handles are awesome.....

Fit my 2007 JK like a glove. Look at them ahead of time to figure out which is left and which is right (easy to see the difference, remember you're putting socket head bolts into the pocket). Several other reviewers have made recommendations on safely removing the old bolts without dropping them into the A-pillar cover. I used the "slipknot a string around it as you're removing it" method, and it worked perfectly. I did manage to drop the larger of the spacers into the A-pillar cover -- d'oh! Minor aggravation of removing the plastic cover briefly, entirely the fault of my own fingers. At least it was too big to fall down into the instrument cluster -- the OEM bolts might be able to do that if you drop them, so use one of the methods mentioned by other reviewers to secure them as you take them out! Once installed, these things are absolutely solid. No movement at all. Zero. Although I still mostly grab the steering wheel to guide myself into the driver seat, some of my passengers are older and less fit, and there's really nothing OEM to grab over there that feels solid enough to pull on. Now I don't have to worry about passengers losing their balance and falling while getting in or out. Superbly packaged in a nice box and foam to separate the parts, every component arrived in perfect condition, no scratches or dings in the finish at all. You'll just need to bring a socket wrench, a 13mm socket (either a deep socket, or a short extension) and a 8mm hex driving tool -- hex key or allen wrench. Edit: I just migrated these to my recently traded-up 2013 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Also a perfect fit, still feels solid to everyone who has used them, and even got a compliment from the dealer's sales guy.

Pretty easy to install after watching video on YouTube. Very strong, looks good. I do recommend getting a magnetic 13mm socket for removing the A pillar bolt, they have them for cheap here on Amazon.

Definitely a must for a lifted Jeep. Easy to install. Eliminates grabbing the steering wheel which over time isn’t a good idea. I read several reviews about being careful not to drop hardware behind the pillar. Just a little patience is required. No problem

Brackets are strong , nice color ! But it does hit the sun visor !

Great quality. I was reluctant to buy these but I needed something to grab ahold of upon entering and exiting my lifted Rubicon besides the steering wheel , which will cause problems later. I wasn't sure they would be strong enough with just the 2 bolts securing the handles with my weight pulling on them to get in and out of my jeep. But ,they are VERY secure and I highly recommend these grab handles.

These bars are solid! Excellent quality and easy to install. The look great and also don’t impede the visor at all!! Only minor issue was the grab bars are on a slight tilt so took a few minutes to figure out which was for driver and which for passenger side. Also when removing the bolts from the Jeep they warn that the side bolt may fall down inside so I used a small extension magnet (pictured) & tucked it inside under the socket wrench once I got the bolt loose to ensure I didn’t lose it. Worked perfectly.
