Works great!
I'm not an electrician and I found the wiring a bit tricky. The touch lamp I installed it on had different colored wires than the replacement. I managed the wiring by taking pictures before I disconnected and matched everything using the provided schematic and my photos. In the end it all came together and the lamp works by touch again!

It works..
It was easy to install and works as it should. But sometimes the light comes on by itself, have not figured out why. Thats why I took off a star...

Poor quality control
This is first one I bought...easy hook up, worked fine. Ordered another, hooked up to exact same type lamp, wired same as first one...it blew up first time I turned on lamp. Not good. Buy at your own risk.

Easy installation
This replacement sensor for my touch lamp was easy to install.

Worked perfectly
The diagram took a second to figure out. You need to have the neutral from the light bulbs, this unit and the cord coming in for this to work properly.Once I figured that out everything worked perfectly.Please just test this on a non conductive surface if possible.

Just to clear up the wiring issues
I purchased 3 of these in 2019 and being an electrician I laughed when I looked at the included wire diagram. I attached that diagram to this review. I tossed the 3 units into a drawer and forgot about them. I see now that the Wire Diagram has been updated on-line and looks correct. I might hook them up now.

Easy to install, and works great with the lamp. Perfect fit, good price.

wrong wiring
Received the unit, installed it immediately according to its schematics, and on first try there was an electric spark inside the box and the lamp did not turn on. As an engineer, and being curious what had happened, opened the black box and noticed the wiring instruction provided was not matching the unit design. White wire and red wire were installed incorrectly on my unit, resulting in unit shorting itself and getting damaged.

Installed the switch immediately and my broken lamp is working again! The electrical leads were of original gauge and looked like the original!!!

Seems to work
I installed this sensor successfully, to the degree that it's working again.Interpreting the instructions, especially which wires connect to the lamp, is a bit tricky. I simply labeled the 4 pre-existing lamp wires....red...black...and 2 white...based on what color wires they were connected to on the old sensor. And connected them to the corresponding new sensor's wires...white to white...black to black...and brown to red.Ground remains the yellow remains the only sensor wire with a connector that is intended to be locked down with a locking nut.Good luck.

Package didn’t come with a wiring diagram, I referred to the diagram shown on pictures when purchased and it was incorrect.
