Get your hands on the Payload and you will soon appreciate its practicality. The Payload stores a 5-bit screwdriver set on board: a #1 slotted screwdriver, a #1 Phillips, a #2 slotted, #2 Phillips, and a T-6. Just remove the bit you want, then push the button at mid-handle to release the bit driver in the back of the handle. The bit driver slides out, ready to accept your chosen bit. When your job is done, replace the bit and slide the bit driver back into the handle. In addition to the handy on-board bit set, you also get a big, beefy utility blade. Open this manual knife one-handed using the convenient thumb stud. The blade is quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a no-nonsense bead-blasted finish. A secure locking liner holds this wide blade safely open during use. The Payload has its own custom pocket clip and it's ready to go to work now.

Terrible quality
Kershaw should consider going back to the drawing board on this knife, second I saw it I geeked out and bought it. But boy was I disappointed when it showed up. Absolute trash quality, dull blade, unusable pocket clip, bits loose in handle, bit extender would barely deploy and when it did it would not lock into place rendering it useless. It would seem that screws set in the scales were intentionally loosened prior to shipping to allow bit extender to seem like it worked. Feels “beefy” but also cheap at the same time. Bit extender rattles when deployed feels like it would break at any amount of torque thrown at it (if it even locked in deployed state). This knife design would sell like hot cakes if a proper knife designer took on the challenge. Give it a s30v or s35v blade, titanium scales w/ a Ti bit extender with a neodium magnet for bit retention. I wasn’t expecting much for this 30$ knife but damn.. .. would easily spend $150 on this knife if it was designed with some quality.

Beast of Knife A+
I have a huge collection of knives and multitools but this knife is my favorite, feels really solid and beefy, the construction material is right there in the midle of the table with the addition of driver bits. Excellent for every day carry, a real tool to count for personal defense, zombie invasion, alien attack even for human restoration after a catastrophe. This knife has been discontinuated by the manufacturer get it while you can, I got it and I am really happy.
