Good stand
For the money it is a great climbing tree stand. I purchased it and use it as my first climber. It is fairly easy to assemble and not very difficult to use. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews mentioning it was heavy or difficult to set up. After purchase I had it put together and ready for use in 20 minutes. The instructions are not the best in the world but they give you a general idea of how and what goes where.I took it out to the woods during bow season and used it quite a few times. First time I set it up in the day time so I knew where everything was and to check everything out prior to getting frustrated on a early hunting morning. I hiked in about a mile in the woods and it worked without issues. The pack straps that comes with it leave something to be desired of. I will probably be replacing them with some ALICE pack straps from a military surplus store. When hunting from it I was quite comfortable in the stand. Which surprised me a bit since I am used to using fixed stands and some ladder stands. There is quite a bit of room to move around and you don't feel cramped like some of the other stands I have used. The net seat provides enough comfort to sit for an hour while waiting for the sun to come up. There is also plenty of room to put the bow down on the lap bar and move around without worrying if you will bump it.The harness that comes with is sufficient to use with the stand. The instructions for how to put it on are not the best and need more pictures on it but not too hard to figure out. I tested the harness prior to using it in a stand. It is not the most comfortable to wear and hold you to the tree with while you are hanging but it does the job it is supposed to do.In the end this is a nice climbing tree stand and is well worth the money. If you are worried about the 30ish pounds it weighs on your back then it may not be the stand for you. I am in pretty good shape and did not have any problems carrying it with hunting gear and water 2 miles in and 2 miles out in the woods.

Sturdy and simple tree stand!
my husband bought these tree stands (one for him and one for me). They are sturdy and easy to use. I’m able to backpack this stand into the woods with fair ease. I’m short (under 5’4) so it is a bit cumbersome for me, however for my husband whose taller than I am it seems to be no problem. The body safety harness is easy to put on and easy to attach to the tree. We’re both able to setup and get into our tree stands quite quickly (I would say no more than 10 minutes to set up at the bottom and 5 minutes to move up the tree to your preferred vantage point). My husband is much faster than me, he sets his stand up in about 5 minutes and moves up the tree in about 3-5 minutes. The only thing that we changed out was the shoulder carrying straps (they are thin and not padded very well) so when you walk with them it will dig into your shoulders, we switched them out with (old school - Alice Pack) Army rucksack shoulder straps which made it easy and comfortable to walk around with. Break down is just as simple as putting it up. Just make sure you don’t forget to utilize that nylon string that goes from the bottom piece to the top piece so that in the event the bottom slides down when you are in the middle of your climb it doesn’t go too far down the tree (don’t make it too short or else your reach when climbing up the tree will be too short). Anyway if you have no idea what I mean in my last sentence thats okay, you will understand once you try it our the first time. I say if you’re looking for a tree stand, this is a good one.

Not the Finest, but Functional
I read quite a few reviews for several stands. For the money, maybe I could have done better. But, none of the other fold flat and as compact as this. It's not the lightest I've seen since it's steel, but overall, it's doable.Packaging could have been better. Two of the strap for the foot hold had broken buckles. Probably since the parts were wedged in between the folded parts of the stand.Don't expect a high end, ultralight climber with this. It's bare-bones and functional. Nothing pretty, nothing fancy. But it get's the job done.Spacious too.

Scared of heights! But I feel safe in this.
I'm a big guy 6' 1 inch 250lbs. This stand holds me with no problems. Found it easier to climb by moving to the straps back and putting the heal strap back from where the holes are drilled for it. One other note: if you carry your outerwear into the woods like I do. Then get dressed on the ground not much room in the stand to get dressed. The stands not heavy for me. I walk bout a mile and half to my spot (which demands my scared ass to be in a tree). Only negative I got and I found a solution so I didn't knock any stars. The safety harness will not fit my over my clothes. I put my thermals on then my safety harness and it just does fit. Hope Santa brings me a big boy safety vest/harness for Christmas. The vest is great for small men.

Great Buy!
As most reviewers have already pointed out....heavier than advertised. However, the savings outweighed the weight. Climbed well, very sturdy and I was able to set in it for 8 hours straight with no issues (very comfortable). I will probably be purchasing another one in the future. I would give it 5 stars if the weight was advertised correctly.Note: I'm not sure if I lost the instructions or if they were not shipped with the stand, but you can download the user manual on line. The safety harness would be really tricking without instructions.

Unbeatable quality & price!
This stand is pretty solid overall! Lots of people say its a lil heavier than advertised, (and it could be havent weighed it) but it is still light as hell!! And i feel very secure inside it! The net seat is like a cozy hammock for your butt. Very comfortable!! The harness it comes with is quality! Mine didnt come with directions which is a lil lame. But it still assembles in no time! And it shipped fast too! For the money you cant beat it!! Quit crying about it being a few ounces too heavy, man the hell up, and go climb!!

Seat is very comfortable and for the money ya can't beat it
First off yes this stand is made in China and yes it is a little heavy but I took this out and hung it on a tree and it is very solid and climbs well.... Seat is very comfortable and for the money ya can't beat it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper but descent stand this is it.
