It remembers the last mode even after turning it off and on. I previously bought another LED strip from Deodap, but that one does not remember the mode. Every time I turn on the TV it starts in disco mode, which looks odd and cheap. With this LED strip, I set the brightness and color to a static mode. When I turn on the TV, it turns on smoothly with a nice fade effect, which looks much better. The most important thing is that the controller remembers the settings, so I don’t need to change the mode every time. I bought the 2-meter strip for ₹350. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. Absolutely horrible quality. Entire unit stopped working in under 2 months. Note, this was installed on a stabilizer yet it blew out.

When I received this Gesto RGB LED strip, the plastic was already broken, and the strip itself was very small and extremely cheap quality. It feels like a toy, not a gaming accessory. The music sync is absolute trash. It does NOT sync with TV sound at all. I bought this specifically to enhance my PS5 gaming experience on TV, but there is no TV audio sync feature. The only way the “music sync” works is through the mobile app using your phone’s microphone. That means you literally have to open your phone and strap it near the TV speakers so it can catch the sound. This is ridiculous and completely impractical. What’s the point of a TV backlight if it can’t sync with TV audio directly? This product is a waste of money. Don’t buy it. Even if you get it for free, throw it in the trash bag. I would’ve given it 0 stars, but unfortunately that option doesn’t exist. It doesn’t even deserve this 1 star.
