Awesome product & great value
I seldom give 5-stars but these pool balls are the beez kneez. Similar competing sets sell for over $200, so at under $40 these are a great value. I was a little concerned that they might be inferior sort of *novelty* product, but they seem to be very high quality on both finish and performance. We don't use them without a blacklight - we have 2 of these directly above the table: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HCSEFEY . These lights make the balls glow brightly, and offer enough ambient light to see the table and pockets. But with those lights, the balls are dazzling bright. A few of the balls like the 7 and 2 and 8 are not bright - only the white numbers show up. But that's to be expected since dark colors don't fluoresce in black light. I'm not sure how well they glow in darkness. Not nearly as well I suspect. The images I attached are far more subdued than the real life images. I don't think cameras are made to represent UV backgrounds very well. They make a game of pool a lot more fun! Highly recommended if you need a replacement set of balls or are looking to spice up the game... UPDATE after 3 months of nearly weekly games 10-20 a night, no chips and they all look good as new. Except the cue which some bonehead scratched off the table onto concrete. And even that only sustained a few light marks, no chips!

Glow in the dark ball set - not so much glow in the dark without help.
The shipment arrived a bit later than advertised. The balls were well packed. They looked like those in the picture. I used these balls for my project to create a high end wave pendulum (which uses 15 equally weighed objects). To further impress, I selected this specific set because how it was advertised - the glow in the dark future. The waive pendulum worked as expected. That means the balls are perfectly equal weight. The glow in the dark feature not so much. I had to purchase a strip of UV led light (and added expense of $26.50) to achieve the desired effect.

Cool fun for a good price.
These pool balls are cool and add great family fun. I got them for my wife's birthday. I thought the price was right. They are regulation size and weight. So they play good in day light too. The white part shows up the best under black light. If you think that some balls are a little dark under black light. Then use a stronger black light and or multiple black lights. I use 2 - 40 watt 48" bulbs and together they are very bright. Or do what the game rooms do. And that is hang a black light directly over the table (so the balls glow) and use low ambient white light around the edges of the room. You will get the black light glow effect of the white part of the balls but have some white light to see the darker part of the balls. I thought the kit was too expensive. So I bought some yellow neon drinking straws and placed them under the bumpers. This creates a bright yellow neon glow around the table. And they look cool and add more fun. I did NOT glue or tape or staple them in place. I just laid them under the bumpers and they stay in place just fine. You can get round black light stickers and use them for the center dot and dots around the table. But I did not want to put stickers on our nice table. I did get black light tape and put a little strip around the end of the cue. Or use glow or black light rubber bands.

Poor Glow
They're fine as standard pool balls but they don't glow very much. Can't see the solid balls at all. Under a black light, the orange balls really pop because it uses a fluorescent color that reacts to UV light. Someone needs to make a set with fluorescent colors for black lights.
