We purchased this set for my son for his second birthday (although the recommended age is 3-7) and he absolutely LOVES it! He's a huge fan of Dino Dana and now he has everything he needs to be a "dinosaur explorer" and perform dinosaur experiments! His favorite parts are the binoculars and whistle which also have a built in compass and work impressively well considering they're a kids toy! The flashlight is also fully functional and the magnifying glass is great for observing bugs! The vest and hat are very well made and there's even a carrying case to store of all of your items. This is an awesome gift for any boy or girl who loves exploring, dinosaurs, bugs or really anything outdoors! There's an endless amount of possibilities with this explorer's kit when your little one uses their imagination. Extremely pleased and would definitely recommend!!

I ordered this Explorer's Set for my granddaughter's 6th birthday. She is a real tomboy, and has a huge imagination and loves to play with her stuffed animals. She plays imaginary school days, takes them on "trips", goes on picnics etc. She also likes to dress up in hats, vests etc...not dresses! I had a feeling that this would be right up her alley....and I was so right. She LOVED it. She donned it all right away, and hardly looked at the rest of her presents. Right after she had us grandparents go on an "adventure" with her outside, where she used all her new tools. I also bought a canteen and a lantern on the side, and it all fit in so well with her big imagination! A hit for sure! Well made, with plenty of room for growth and all the "tools" seemed to work and weren't just for looks. Really a quality product, and a nice plastic carry case to store it all in.

A little pricey for the quality. The binoculars fell apart upon opening, so I continually have to put them back together. Cute set but cheaply made.

For 'dress up and what you want to be when your older' day at school, my daughter decided she wanted to be an Archaeologist. I saw this on Amazon and read the comments thinking will this fit my 9 YO, it was worth the risk -she is a small 9 but it fitted her perfectly, the hat was a tad small but it will still do for this day at school and all the accessories inside worked perfectly. So happy with the purchase and especially my daughter - great costume.

This is the perfect kit for the explorer in your life. All the accessories are cute and my daughter loves it. My daughter wears a medium 7/8 and the vest fit her great. I definitely recommend.

We are going to San Diego to the wild animal safari park and our 6 yr old will be dressed for the occasion!

This child’s Safari was so well received. Such a delight to see the young child’s investigating all of these goodies. All the plastic items were very well made and substantial - I was extremely pleased with this purchase. This very cute Safari Set was very much money well spent.
