InHome Sea Glass Peel and Stick Backsplash Tiles, Blue, 10.5 in x 10.5 in

I'd like to preface this review by saying 1) I've never used peel & stick tile before 2) I'm not a "DIY-er" / Martha Stewart type. I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler and that's only after concentrating *really* hard. That said, I read a lot of the existing reviews to get a sense of how successful people were with their projects, and gleaned a lot of very helpful tips, which I will also share (because I don't gatekeep). Overall, I found working with these tiles moderately easy. Moderately because finding your 'pattern' and the 'rhythm' for laying the tile down (especially around electric sockets) is a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure it out, everything 'snaps' into place, and it goes by quickly. There are 4- square tiles per package and it took 4 packages (16 'squares' total) to cover my backsplash. The tiles themselves are beautiful-- with a neat, clean, and classic aesthetic, and a slightly rubbery texture that gives it a 'glassy' gloss and easy to clean surface. There is a protective layer sheet on top that should be peeled off only after you've securely placed the tile in its final position. I got a little coffee splashed on it, and it wiped right off with a damp sponge. They are about 8 sheets of paper thick, and --based on another reviewer's tip--I highly recommend purchasing a tabletop paper cutter (either the guillotine handle or the Fiskars rotary blade version -- I used the latter) to help with the trimming process. This will make your life so much easier, especially if you're tackling a bigger surface area. My apartment was built in the 50's, so nothing was even about my wall, but the cutter came in clutch for cutting tiles to fit in the wonky-little spaces. I'd go mad if I had to do that by hand! Overall, I'm extremely pleased with these tiles, especially for the cost. I felt that it was a good value for a solo-afternoon project to add a little cheerful pop of color that really brightens up a "blah" backsplash.

These tiles are beautiful and easy to install. The adhesion is extremely tacky. Although we did have a few tiles lightly peel but I think it's from handling that edge too much while installing them. The one thing I would recommend is to measure and draw leveled lines on your wall. We found that when installing our tile that one end of the counter was about 1/2 lower than the other end of our countertop. Visually it's not noticeable until you walk right up to it and you are looking for it. It's nothing a little caulk line can't fix. The only thing I wish was that this came with a finishing edge. I got online to look for a finishing edge in this color and they are difficult to find. I found it in white and am waiting for it to arrive. There is one picture of before we moved in the house of the kitchen with no appliances. I haven't found too much of a color variation but did find that where the tiles overlap they seem to be slightly larger in some of the packages. So the grout line is overlapping on the color of the next tile and you can notice it if you look close up. But like another reviewer said, I trimmed a few of those pieces. Overall we are extremely happy and have gotten a lot of compliments on our wall tile. We have an open concept living home and it's perfect for breaking up that long wall and making the kitchen appear as its own space. The tiles are very shiny and look like glass which is what we were looking for. I am going to order more tiles and bring it up the sidewall and above the cabinets as well. One complaint I do have is when I ordered the first batch of tiles they were $18. When I realized that I was keeping these tiles and had to order more they jumped up to $26 and change. Now I get online and they are down to $15.23. I don't think that's fair to the consumer. Why the fluctuating prices? I did see these tiles at Lowe's for $15.35 for 4 (1pkg.) Overall, we're very happy with the look, quality, and installation of these tiles.

love the color; looks gray in the photo, but they're a very nice soft sea glass color. PROS: obviously waterproof. made a good backsplash behind the sink in my she-shed. in the same lot number, the packages i received were an excellent match to each other. easy to cut with good shears or a utility knife. inexpensive (comparatively speaking). excellent adhesive - no way are these going to come off the wall by themselves. after taping each tile up on the wall, i decided i liked them better only about 6" tall so cut them in half. like that the "tiles" stand slightly proud of the "grout", giving them a 3d appearance. CONS: the seams!!! if you're standing straight in front, you dont see them but the second you stand to the side, the seams are obvious. to minimize them, you'd need to trim the white flat portion at the end of each piece so the next one sits flush on the wall and not on the end of the previous piece. if i install these again, that's what i'll need to do - and it will take FOREVER. the "tiles" feel very rubbery - just like a rubber band; feels very odd. i had to trim each piece before i could fit it to the one next to it; the "grout" often was wide than it should have been and slightly covered the "tile". i would buy them again. i'd install in my rv bathroom and my shed but never in my house. if you're looking for an inexpensive update, lighter weight than ceramic tile, a diy-type job, get these. just know that they have a rubbery feel, will most likely damage the wall when you remove them, and where pieces fit together, you'll have to do some trimming to fit them well or the seams will be obvious. actually, the pieces dont fit together, the next one on the wall sits on TOP of the one beside it. for the ease of peel and stick, i'll give them a 4 - but not really happy with the amount of time it takes to make them look really good.

Used this on a play kitchen and it looks so good! It took some sharp focus to cut things properly and to attach it for a smooth transition. Came with clear instructions and both packages I ordered were the same lot number. It recommends dbl checking that to be sure of consistency, so order everything at once with some extra. The surface does feel like it would attract stuff. The material isnt sticky but it is is kind of a tacky feel, even though the surface is glossy and firm. If using in an actual kitchen I think it would require regular cleaning. It sticks very well but not sure how long it would hold up around the edges with all that cleaning.

These In Home Sea Glass Peel & Stick Backsplash Tiles are... well, pretty good. They stick, they look nice enough, and they definitely add a splash of “I tried” to the kitchen. But after a bit, I realized they just weren’t me. Maybe it’s the sea glass vibe, or maybe I’m secretly more of a “wall of cereal boxes” type, who knows? So yeah, if you want an easy backsplash upgrade that doesn’t demand a contractor or a new mortgage, these will do the trick. Just don’t expect me to gush about them at dinner parties. In conclusion: Good tiles, just not my forever soulmate.

I don’t know why the bad reviews. Peel and stick does not look like real tile. Yes, these imitate the real thing but never is the real thing. Yet these look pretty damn good in my camper. Perfect condition and packaging. Easy to apply with lots of tact, precision, no trembling hand and both a good pair of sharp scissors AND a blade. My blade was dull and my first cut was not great... I had to reposition a few times and had no issue with Re-sticking. Took me over an hour cause I am slow. Only thing I could not test is resistance to heat and humidity over time... that’s why I started with small area. Will wait and see and continue if satisfyingly resilient. Very happy for now.

Extremely disappointed. The measurements are 10x10 so we ordered the amount accordingly. However, the “tiles” need to overlap so the true measurement is more like 9x10. Now we are a short and would need to order more but the price has continued to increase from $14 to now $27! On top of that the colors are way off. Some of the tile squares are darker the others and it is very noticeable. Removing the stickers will ruin the wall and cost money to fix and replace! Lining the stickers up is very difficult too which makes the tiles look messy. We had hoped to save money going with these stickers but it absolutely backfired! (By the way, my husband installed these and has done countless remodels in our house - he’s really good at it but these were a nightmare)

Amazing results if you aren't willing/can't afford to pay for proper tiles. I was able to achieve the desired result and upgrade my kitchen with these adhesive stickers, they look like real tiles at first glance! The installation was a bit tricky at first but once I got into it it did get easier. I used a white silicon sealant around the edges and joints to create a seamless finish. Would definitely use these again in fact I'm thinking of upgrading my downstairs loo next.

Ordered these a while ago and just now had the opportunity to start installing them. I was very happy with the first package that had plastic on both sides of the peel and stick tiles, but the second package was smaller in size and had a paper backing which is very very difficult to peel off. I have ruined many pieces because of this reason I’m not very happy with that product.

Wir haben die Klebefliesen Küchenbereich Wohnwagens verklebt und ihn damit mit kleinen Mitteln aufgehübscht. Natürlich ist es Fisselarbeit, vor allem bei kleinen oder Schrägen Flächen, aber mit Geduld und Spucke bekommt man ein tolles Ergebnis.

I love this product and the color. But I had to return it back cause the color didn't go well with my kitchen,so ordered another color. And I love that color too. It's a very good product. Sticks well,but I used 3m multipurpose adhesive for better results.These tiles give a great and real mosaic look.
