Perfect addition to my closet for shelving organization
After reading mixed reviews I hesitated on getting these. I am so glad I finally did. They are just what I needed to add lightweight shelving to my closet and are working out so well. They are fairly sturdy and are holding the lightweight items I’ve placed on them just fine. I wouldn’t store anything heavy like books on them. Putting them together was fairly easy, with a couple of minor frustrations along the way. You just have to make sure you click them them hard enough, but not too hard (I broke one panel trying to push it into the connector, and I am by no means super strong). I love the versatility of these - you don’t have to connect them all together and as seen in my photo, I ended up using three cubes on one shelf and one cube on another and I still have enough panels and connectors left over to make one more. The one thing I would have preferred was for the wire inside the panels to be white like the connectors - that are black, but they aren’t overly standing out so it’s fine. Overall, I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking to add shelving for lightweight items.

Best cubby system I’ve owned!! Second time purchasing.
This is the second one of these I’ve purchased, and it won’t be the last! I bought the first set as a bedside table for myself and a year later I have no complaints! I have even reconfigured it with no issue. When my daughter needed better organization in her closet she actually requested that I get her this system. It worked perfectly for sorting out her folded clothes and adding baskets for socks etc. Now I have decided I will be purchasing another set for my closet! This is hands down the best cubby system for the price, it’s much sturdier than it looks (my bedside set is loaded down with baskets of cosmetics and hair products etc, and has a jewelry armoire on top of it). Super easy to assemble and take apart to move or reconfigure it as well. I will purchase these every time over a pressboard set that cant be moved or adjusted!

Sturdy enough and easy to put together
Was easy to put together. Did not always need the hammer included for the connector pieces, but I am glad they included it. Used with multiple boxes to create a large closet organizer for my t-shirts. I liked that I could mix and match the black and white to create something more unique, artistic, and easy on the eyes.I wish this had come with flat-sided connectors for the bottom/top sections. I did not use the "legs" pieves. Would not recommend putting heavy things on it, unless they are on the bottom row. With larger pieces, I do recommend building the enture structure before putting it into place. Those connectors are easy to put on...but that means they are also easy to knock off as well.

This is a real review and I think the shelves are cool
These shelves are interesting. I didnt realize that it was a bunch of panels that you hinged together but it's a cool concept and design. I think it's easy to put together and looks nice for a modern setup. I wanted something quick, cheap and different for my new apartment. This did the trick to hold books and other odds and ends. Worked perfect but dont expect a TON of shelf space. I'm sure its comparable to other similar shelves but just check the dimensions. There are a few configurations you can make with it though that can create space in different ways. Surprised by the sturdiness but may be a concern over time. I probably wouldnt need them forever. Just for now at my apartment they are cool but if I get a serious house setup going I would get nicer shelves. Would just like to say again that you'll be surprised when it comes to your door and you see how it fits together!

Easy to assemble.
This product was fairly easy to assemble. It is lightweight. I do not think it is good for books because it is not strong enough. But it works great for my yarn storage or for clothing. It was slightly larger than I thought. Barely fitting on a standard with closet shelf. It was also too tall. So I took off the top bin and made a separate bin that I have under my desk. I like that it is versatile. It is worth the price and was delivered quickly.

...it's merely OK
Expensive for what they are, purchased two sets and only ever assembled one. Our return window has closed, wish I'd sent them back and got something a bit more substantial, or better yet, bought something else to begin with.Assembly wasn't particularly complicated, but took forever because you really have to be sure the rods are all snapped in place well, which may or may not unsnap another area which was previously locked in. After two months of light use, I notice a shelf support has started to cave... luckily, the manufacturer knew this would happen and included a spare lol.I'm not looking forward to taking all of my fabric scraps out of the unit to repair the cube then having to reassemble it, but when I do, zipties will definitely be used. The individual shelves are supposed to be rated for far more weight than I'd ever trust this thing to hold. Would never recommend that you use this to organize items which are needed frequently because even just sitting here, I keep assuming it will fall like a house of cards. This thing is "okay" because I'm stuck with two sets lol
