Making Comics: Storytelling Secrets of Comics, Manga and Graphic Novels Paperback – 5 September 2006

I could get so much insight from this book. It's unlike other 'How to ...' books. Highly recommend it!!

a lot of depth and study gone into cartoning, excellent book.

I bought this as a gift for my sister, who is a prolific and talented (entirely self taught) illustrator looking to refine her technique. Incidentally, the book had also been recommended to her by a very senior design professional. She absolutely loved the book - she found it very useful. It is also beautifully drawn. The guide is comprehensive and would be great even for a novice.My fear with buying books online is paper quality. This book is more than satisfactory on that count! Cover as well as inside paper, printing - all great quality!

Its a must read book if you want to learn how to write a comics...its not only comics...you can apply the knowledge in story telling, film making and any kind of visual story telling.

Book is no doubt awesome and very helpful, but the book was not in a good condition while I received plus packaging is not satisfactory. That's why not giving it 5 stars.
