Does it effectively turn a pool table into a snooker table? (Pool table pockets are huge, which makes pool such an easy game).

Well no, they do not turn a pool table into a snooker table due to some other physical factors but, they do, in fact, reduce the size of the pockets sufficiently so that unless you are a pro-level player you will very quickly abandon them. The way I use them is when I am playing a pro-level player in One Pocket, he agrees to a reducer in his pocket alone. They are great equalizers.

anyone think these have caused damage to cloth on pocket rails?

I put fresh cloth on my table before i got these. No damage . I dont leave them in the pockets when im not shooting.

These are meant for practice, not to be used during play so some reviewers who cite issues with the coils being in the way for certain shots? Well, it sounds like they are just leaving them on their table for regular play. That's okay but you do need to know what they are intended for and expect there may be interference with certain less common shots. Don't practice those shots with these. I put them on my table and practiced with them for just an hour (I just received these yesterday). Wow! What a difference it makes! You MUST pay attention to your form with these. It forces you to focus on the shot and your form. I don't see it helping you with your leave, but there are drills for that. I will just be using these to sink balls consistently. These are not cheap by any means, but I think they are worth the price!! THANK YOU to whoever thought of these!!

I bought these to sharpen the saw my stroke. Overall, I am very pleased with the durability and quality of these pocket reducers. It is very hard to make a ball down the rail, and you need to be precise when practicing. I would not recommend for sustained play, but definitely for practice and drills.

Item is great. Very expensive though. Especially if you are a Canadian citizen. You pay almost 50.00 for shipping and then with your item you receive another charge of 20.00 for a way bill. I assumed this was included in higher price of shipping. Very disappointing. Don’t buy if you are Canadian. Everything costs more than the item and believe me it is not worth that much
