This lightweight plastic model, necessary when “Portable” is in the title, comes with 6 sounds: Lullaby, Shush, Fetal heartbeat, Rain, White Noise, and Waves sound. Each sound stops automatically after 30 minutes, sounds will be activated by voice sensor if surrounding noise goes up to 70DB. The power switch knob and sound volume can be adjusted together on the top of the product. Rotate the bottom gently, and switch to 6 soothing sounds freely The 6 sounds options offer a bit of variety, here are my takes on their quality: 6 soothing sounds for babies • Lullaby-Soft Soothing tunes your little one will fall asleep to quickly • Shush- he rhythmic shush reminds baby of being inside mom, where they were inundated 24 hours a day with loud sounds of blood flow and other in utero noises usher stops crying by engaging the natural calming reflex of your baby. • Fetal heart beat– this is subtle and calming for a newborn • Rain-The soothing sound of the pitter patter of soft rain drops falling will give you one sleepy baby. • White noise- standard white noise, comparable to what I use in my own room • Wave-a bit intense, though better when the volume is turned down. Upon first examination I was not very impressed with the sleep machine, physically it felt flimsy and I small and compact, not big and bulky likes ones we’ve had in the past. I feared it would not survive a night in my house. But, after trying it out, I found I liked the sounds. Even the heartbeat option did not feel creepy to me, as it often does in other models. Though not the heftiest of sound machines on the market, the sounds and size work in its favor. The small size is especially nice for infants whose own spaces tend to be smaller in nature. An added bonus is that this model is a featherweight compared to other options of similar quality in the sound machines. The Built-in Li-Ion 1800mAh rechargeable battery, which has now lasted us 4 nights so far without needing to be charged. This is great and a life-saver when you cannot locate batteries. At the bottom of the product, there is six-gear corresponding to six soothing sounds, select different gear to play the corresponding sounds. It is nap time that she fights the most, being 2 years old and all. The first day, she fell asleep with in minutes. Her normal naps are usually about 2 hours. Using this amazing sound machine, she would nap 3 hours plus and would have to be woken up. This is literally one the best soothing sound machines out on the market and highly recommend it. The price is comparable to others on the market of $25 on Amazon. If you are in the market for a white noise baby soother machine, then look no further. This machine hands down is perfect for you!

My item was defective. Each of the last three nights I’ve placed it in my daughter’s room and after 30-60 minutes it stops making noise. I have to go into the room and tap the noise machine to make it start up again.

I drive for door dash and have been bringing my son along with me. This sound machine has been AWESOME to have to drown out other noise since I am constantly getting him in and out of the car. It clips on easy to his infant carseat however it works just fine sitting between his feet. The charge lasts forever it seems. I use it almost daily for several hours a day and I only charge it once or twice per week. I highly recommend this one! **edit** it completely stopped working after about 6-8 weeks. Can no longer recommend )

We love this sound machine for so many reasons, but the biggest reason is how easy it is to travel with. We love that we can truly use it anywhere since it doesn’t have to be plugged in! We brought it when we traveled over the holidays and it was perfect at my husband’s grandparents house because there are so few outlets in the bedroom we stay in. It would also be perfect if you are looking for something to move around within one house. I remember when our son was a baby, he would sleep in different places all around the house. You could easily grab this from the bedroom and bring it in you room or even the living room. I am already imagining it being perfect when we go camping this summer, especially at the campgrounds that do not have electric sites. It is also so small, which means it barely takes up any space in the suitcase when we travel! There is also a sturdy hook attached to it which means we could hang it from pretty much anywhere. If you tent camp, it could easily be hung from a tent. If you are using it at home, it could be hung from anywhere in the room, out of the reach of your children. It could also be hung from a car seat or stroller; I do not know any other sound machine that can travel in the car or stroller! We also love the sound machine for the different sounds; currently our son uses the white noise sound, but enjoyed the heartbeat sound when he was a small baby. Many children change what sound they prefer as they get older so this sound machine can truly grow with children. I was surprised at how loud this sound machine was being that it is so small; there are multiple volume levels that can be utilized by simply turning the dial. The sound machine was charged when we first took it out of the box and has held its charge since we opened it. We have only used it a few times since opening it, but it tells me that it holds a charge for a long time! It comes with a USB charger which means it can be charged via computer or through a wall-charger that has a USB port. This little sound machine is cordless and rechargeable. It is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, only weighing about 6 ounces. There are (6) different sounds that can be played: lullaby, shush, heartbeat, rain, white noise, and waves. Simply twist the bottom (orange part) of the sound machine to switch the different sounds. One really nice feature of this little sound machine is the 30-minute timer; all (6) sounds automatically turn off after 30 minutes. However, they will turn back on if they sense a cry or loud noise in the room. Our absolute favorite feature of this tiny sound machine is that it doesn’t require any cords! Simply charge it up and be on your way! We would highly recommend this little sound machine for anyone at home or traveling.

Charged unit, battery lasted about 2 months. Recharged battery until light turned green but will not produce any sound. Wish it came with a manufacture warranty.

This a nice little sound machine. Compact and portable. I like that the battery can be charged and used without plugging it in all the time. The sounds are clean and not annoying. The rain sound, in particular, is soothing and real sounding. The downfall, however, is that each sound only plays for 30 minutes before it turns off. Yes, it's sound activated to turn on if the baby cries, but for our situation, where we need it to play all night or at least on a timer, it's a bit of a hassle (we either have to keep going back to turn it on or leave it off completely, as the baby could wake up when the sound shuts off by itself). Almost perfect!

The AuCuTee Sleep Aid Rechargeable 6 in 1 Sound machine is ideal for little babies from newborn to up to 12 months of age. My niece was born on 11/20/2018. I have been using it to get her to go to sleep. What's amazing about this baby soother is that it is super compact which makes it ideal for using it while on the go. Although it is small, it is powerful. The volume goes up high enough to fill up a room. This is great to use if your little one is cranky or need assistance with going to sleep. This product came with a USB cord, you will have to provide your own wall charger. It charges up really fast which is great if you will need it in an hour or two. All of the sounds are soothing and does not sound too out of place. It worked for my niece. I have a two year old daughter who loves to turn it on for her cousin, to get her to sleep. It's truly worth a buy.

With our newborn, we were hoping to have a good sound machine for soothing. In this regard, it was average. However after only 2 days of use it became ear piercingly loud upon turning it on and the volume would not adjust. It completely wouldn't turn on not too long after. Not worth the money.
