We bought these for our 7 year old son. He wanted the heel on the back and uses them as shoes at times. Not going to school, church, etc. More for around the house, going to family members houses, etc. They have a solid sole bottom that can be worn outside. Our son says they are conformable and he loves the way they look. He wears a 3Y US shoe and we bought the 4-5 Big Kid size. They are not too big and he has a little room to grow.

Their cute, but as soon as i unpackaged it, the slipper park (the shark) came off of the sole part, had to fix it. please glue these parts together more securely. but, very very cute and soft!
