Recommend this weighted vest
Fits comfortably and has 6 1 pound weights to add. Smells when you first get it but it goes away.

Weighted Vest
Easy to put on and adjust. If itโs too heavy, you can take out weight packets as needed. As you build your strength, replace weight packs. Overall good product.

Nice quality vest, but the straps adjust the wrong way.
I am a fitness coach, hiker, backpacker and I jog. I have a 10lb adjustable weighted vest, but I outgrew it, so I picked this one up. I use my vests to help me with knee rehab and to keep myself in better shape out of hiking season, as well as for my clients. Pros - The weight is distributed well in the vest well, and the wide shoulders help distribute the load across your traps. I did not feel lopsided at all. - The weights are covered in a heavy duty nylon vs plastic. - It is mostly easy to remove and replace the weights in the pockets. There is a tab to pull them out. You have to squish them a little to get them back in. - It is easy to keep the weights properly distributed when removing or adding them back in. - There are 3 mesh pockets. 2 in front and one on the back for hold keys and snacks. - I like the reflective strips on the vest. They are helpful when out at night or early in the morning - The weight adjustability is makes this much more versatile. You don't need a new vest each time you want to go up on weight and you can micro adjust for exercises such as for pull-ups or lunges. There are 8, 1lb weights, so the vest can be adjusted from 6 to 15lbs. - I am 5ft 110lbs with an hourglass figure. It fit OK on me. It was hitting the top of my hips, but not annoyingly so. So this works for short curvy gals. - My husband tired it on and it fit him well too, so this will work perfectly fine for men as well. Cons - There are only 2 adjustments - one on the right and one of the left - and they needed to be pulled backwards vs forwards to adjust. This is super awkward/biomechanically makes no sense - and this is coming from someone with hypermobile tendencies. I had to take the vest off to make adjustments (a highly adjustable item should be quick and easy to make bigger or smaller with it on your torso), but then it is really hard to get back on since I need it as tight as it will go down to prevent bouncing during jogging. - I found that the front weights were pushing uncomfortably into my stomach, but I tend to be sensitive to weight pressing in that area. - Unlike a daypack or backpack. the the load sits on your shoulders vs on your hips. This can cause shoulder and/or lower back pain, as it did during my jog. - You have to put this on over your head, vs behind you like a vest or jacket. That can be a little awkward with the extra weight. - None of the mesh pockets were big enough to hold a smartphone In sum, the vest works well for walking, hiking, doing chores or adding an evenly distributed weight during a workout (for things such as squats or pullups vs using, say, a dumbell), but for running it was too bouncy for me. I also didn't like the way the weight was distributed across my stomach. I found it useful for my knee rehab, and to use with my clients. It is well made and I expect it to last a long time.

The weights are removable and the base weight is a perfect start!
As a 5'2" 150lb female, this vest is very comfy, stays in place, and the weight(s) is perfect.
