Delighted with this little pump, just what I needed.

This water pump took some trial and error to use. I did not receive instructions in the box, so I asked my building's maintenance supervisor for help to use it. He taught me how to use it. It is not made for large amounts of water due to it's low voltage. However it moved water from one basin to another without problem. It would work for small floods such as water splashed out of a tub from a child.

This thing works great!! I used it to drain a water heater into a toilet at the same height. 40 gallons in about 5 minutes or so. I didn't time it but it was quick enough to not be annoying. The wires are very thin but it does come with an on of switch inline and leads to connect to a car battery. Also nice to see it comes with a spare impeller, a pretty robust dirty water screen/pickup and some other parts. I used it with a higher current 12v power supply and had no issues but I can't imagine it draws much current. My only gripe is it could come with a female-female garden hose adapter. no leaks worked straight away and it wasn't obnoxiously noisy.

Oct 2025 - Water Transfer Pump, DC 12V 330 GPH: This pump works great right out of the box. You can make this portable since it works off a 12 volt power supply like a spare car battery or the like. It can drain a 25 gallon aquarium in less than 5 seconds. Additionally, you can take the water collected from rain barrels and pump the water uphill instead of just gravity fed. For small applications around the house like this, it's great. Try to use water that is free of chunky debris. So, when you put the end of the hose that goes into the water, have some sort of filter on the end for both large and medium size debris to keep it from getting into the pump head. Perfect for my occasional needs around the house. I have not tried this in a continual use application, so not sure what this pump is like running 24 hours a day. Check the manufacturer's recommendations. This is a tidy and compact design making it easy to use anywhere.

This 12V water transfer pump has been incredibly useful for a variety of tasks around the house. I've used it to drain my hot tub, empty a small pond, and transfer water between tanks. The pump is easy to set up and operate, and the included hoses are a good length. The 330 GPH flow rate is impressive for such a small pump, and the self-priming feature is a huge time-saver. The on/off switch is conveniently located. Being 12V, it's easily powered by my car battery or a portable power station.
