Color fades with use
The color comes off with time and fades slightly but its plenty strong and a decent value.

Great on the ultralight side.
I've ordered three spools of this line in different colors and weights. I have it in 6lb in blue and orange on a few of my ultralight spinning combos, and I have it in 25lb for a heavier combo. Ultralight is my main jam so that's where I've used the line most so far. I'm always on the lookout for good, budget braids. This one immediately made it to the top of my list after using it. With a 6' ultralight rod and a size 800 reel, I was able to rocket out 1/16oz lures like it was nothing. I haven't noticed any color fade so far. I'm in the Rockies, fairly high elevation where the UV exposure is kind of crazy, and I haven't had any sun bleach yet. I also haven't noticed color wearing off due to water exposure either. There wasn't even any color bleed on my hands when I spooled it, with either color. I do like the orange a lot better, it's much brighter, the blue being fairly light shade of blue. If you want a color for higher visibility, definitely go orange. The blue virtually disappears for me after casting and I can't see it at all. This is similar to Hercules or Reaction Tackle braid, two brands that are well-liked by many, myself included. Where Runcl wins is the color seems to hold much better, and the line seems to be a thinner. That's a good thing for ultralight, where you want to cast very light lures. The 25lb I haven't used yet. It did seem almost stiff during spooling, sort of as if it had a light coating on it. Neither 6lb spool felt like this.
