I love these baseboards for my basement! In fact I just reordered. They are polystyrene, and have a gloss finish that looks like a thermafoil wrapping (you can see that the gloss white wraps around). No need for painting - it's really bright gloss white, easy to clean. I used a sharp knife for cutting and mitering - super easy to cope the mitres on these! I attached them with a few strips of nanotape in between dollops of "no more nails", once dried caulked as one would with baseboards. I think they look fantastic for the basement, and they are mould and moisture resistant. I still prefer a proper wood baseboard for the main floor in my house, these are not as rich or textured as a wood moulding. But I love them for more casual spaces where I don't want something fancy. I would repurchase these again and again for the right rooms!

So easy to use! I redid a small bathroom and this was one of my favorite parts. It was even paintable. I've told multiple people how awesome it was to work with.

Not useable, opened one of 4 packages to try and make it work - covered in blue packing peanut foam dot pieces that got everywhere so didn’t even open 3 boxes just sent them back!

Definately not what I expected. Very cheap looking
