Elica cooktop - Simple, sturdy & quality product.
I was using similar elica 4 burner cooktop since end of year 2013. It was showing it's age so decided to get new one & shift it to my native place house. Coming to this new model it has double dip tray which is helpful in maintaining it clean, the new model has good sturdy pan support as well. The glass is of 8mm compared to 6mm of the competitor brand "G". The quality of glass is much better & properly placed as well as insulated. The body is made up of stainless steel and easy to clean. Buttons are ergonomics. The box package was simple but sturdy. Overall happy with the quality of the product and service by Brand Elica and as always Amazon rocks. Lesson learnt hard way... A pointer for those who want to buy new cooktops. 1 Never select Auto Ignition (AI) model as care has to be taken to keep it dry. Short circuit may happen leading to hazards. 2. Never get powdered coated body as it's mostly wrought iron instead prefer stainless steel model for long life and easy maintainence. 3. Choose thicker Glass top as it helps keep it cool not heating much. I guess Elica provides 8mm glass compared to 6mm by most competitors. Read on further if you want to know more about my bad experience. Initially I went for (AI)auto ignition model of some other brand called "G" & had to face issues from beginning with service as well as quality of product. The installation executive of brand "G" was supposed to come on Saturday 27th Feb 2021 but did not turned up till 6pm in evening so I called their number & then it was rescheduled on Sunday. Luckily my old elica was working so I had no issues. Even after installing brand G the auto ignition of one burner was not functioning properly so I pointed out to him but reply was quite casual and was not even eager to resolve it. I decided to test it for a day or 2 but issue was still there so I put up service call for it. Again some other person came acknowledge the issue but did not took any steps to resolve instead got reply I will try to change the wire but I do not have it now. When I asked if it can work or should I call Amazon for returns & his reply was shocking but honest that such issues arrives in auto ignition in future so see if you can return it to get manual ignition. So called up Amazon for returns & luckily it was possible. Waited for 1 day to give brand "G" fair chance to resolve but no reply from them so booked new manual ignition elica cooktop & put up returns request for auto ignition model of Brand G. If Brand "G" having poor service support in area of Mumbai Western suburbs then what about 2 tier cities or rural places??When I removed the connection for repacking Brand G for returning to Amazon found out dents in fixed steel plate of the defective AI burner. The other burner on front had some rust spots on burner and spark plug which cannot be cleaned. Tried to Clean it & repacked waiting for Amazon to pickup on Sunday 7th March as I will be free to face it. Just hoping to get my refunds from Amazon without any issues.

I deeply regret purchasing the Elica 763 CT DT Vetro gas stove. Within 10 days of purchase, serious issues started appearing: Pan support got rusted Burners turned black Stove knobs are extremely hard to operate I raised a complaint with Amazon, but since the return window had closed, I was asked to contact the brand. I emailed Elica with complete details and received a complaint number along with assurance that the issue would be resolved at the earliest. The next day, a technician named Mr. Balkrishna called me and asked me to explain the problem again, even though the complaint was already registered. Shockingly, he asked me to WhatsApp images before visiting saying he would decide whether to come after seeing the photos. I refused, as this is completely unprofessional. When he finally visited: Seeing the pan support rusted, he said milk might have spilled, causing the rust (which is unacceptable for a new stove). When we showed him our old stove used for many years with no rust, he finally admitted that the pan support coating was not done properly. For the blackened burners, he said he would clean them and “see if it works.” For the tight knobs, he casually said to keep using them and they might loosen over time. This explanation is ridiculous for a brand-new stove that is not even 12 days old. This is unacceptable. He kept saying these issues are “common,” which only proves how poor the product quality is. He took the bill copy and left without offering a real solution. Till date, the complaint remains unresolved. Overall, the product quality is cheap and substandard, customer service is pathetic, and the technician was unprofessional and unskilled. Please do not waste your hard-earned money on this gas stove. I strongly advise others not to buy this gas stove and not to fall for the brand name. This has been a complete waste of money.

Liked: •Recd in scratchfree, damagefree, pristine condition •Quality as claimed, no surprises. Honest listing. Good driptray,pansupport. •Burner: good weight, flame sim, high, good. •Glasstop: okay and good •Driptray: Easy to clean 2nd tray. which hides all SCREWS etc. prevents dirt,dust,rust. •Burner height: Burner acceptably high from drip plates, prevents damage/darkng/burn of the drip plate. •Easetoassemble: Easy to clean,assemble after every wash. Tray, Pansupport easily assemble/fits in due to its unique shape. No clumsy black burner rings. Dislike: • Low volume 'creick' sound sometimes after switched off. Maybe due to gasket expansion/contrction after use. But can be ignored as can goaway after some use/seasoning. • Pansupport play: slight movement or play/fitting like all stoves. May be essential to suit expansion & contraction on heat Finally is a good product to buy without any ambiguity.

This is my First Glass wala Gas Stove. Let's see abb kab tak chalega ye.
I ordered this on 22nd February, delivered me on 25th Feb. After that I got a call from Elica Agent about did you received the product or not. I told him to send a technician to convert LPG to PNG, quickly arranged the technician. Same day Technician visited, checked it and told me to replace the gas stove because it was damaged near the joint at the back. Then I raised the request for the replacement, delivered me on 2nd March. Now I called them Elica Coustomer Service for convertion of LPG to PNG connection. They told me "it was a Chargeable service". And Warranty is only valid when the services are done by the Elica Authorised Centres and Technician. Next day (means Today) the technician visited and successfully make the gas stove to use with PNG connection { I paid the charges Rs. 350 + 18% = Rs. 413 (LPG to PNG) he also gave me the Bill }. He Told me Labour Services under the period of 1 year is FREE. After 1 year it will be chargeable. Also told me to review this product and about their services (right now) on Amazon. So After 10 days of usage the stove is doing well but not great. Because this stove has low quality Valve if compared with its middle or high end models. The Flame control is bad in this and below models. Also the Left Big Burner Valve is not working well, it got tight after use not smooth as others. I called Elica Customer Service, they sent their technician ( 12 March ). The technician fixed the problem temporary not permanently. He told me after use it will get smooth. I think it's defective valve. So it's my mistake I didn't checked it properly at the time of delivery. My request is after purchasing any cooktop gas stoves online please use it with LPG cylinder and check it carefully ( that their knobs valves everything working properly...............uska cona cona dekhlo kaise kaam karha hai agar zaraa sa bhi doubt ya dikaat lage tou turant replacement karalena agar replacement mai dikkat lagge tou fir return kardena aur Offline Authorized Shop se kharidlena. After 1 month, my knobs are tighter than before. I called Elica they solved the problem. Elica service is very good you have to call them they will register your complaint and send technician within 48hr. I called them 3 times, they arrived within 24hrs.
