Water nirvana. Refreshing, not boring.
I am a heavy, Amazon user and can count on one hand the number of reviews I have ever bothered to write. But I am so obsessed with this that I had to come write a review today. The Langers ginger is my EVERY SINGLE DAY, absolute favorite beverage. By a mile. Only hate that I can’t get it at grocery stores near me so I keep trying other things and being disappointed and coming back and increasing the frequency of my Amazon subscription deliveries. I love that the ginger is bold and I love that it is not sweetened. I get that the flavor is not for everyone but hey, more for me. I hope they never ever change it. Crisp, refreshing perfection. No artificial sweet taste. Nice bold pop of ginger though, to keep it from being boring. It’s just perfection, and you can’t find anything else like it. Maybe some day they will make a noncarbonated option as well, which I would be down for. Anyway, just can’t say enough how much I love this stuff. I’ve been obsessed for years. And today, I realized it was a crime I had not written a review. My bad for gatekeeping!

Earthy ginger.
I've purchased twice so far. Has a very earthy ginger taste. If you like ginger this sparkling drink is good but unique taste might not be for everyone.

Two flavors undrinkable.
The Kalamansi is not kalamansi, and scarcely even lime; waste of money. The dominant flavor is just carbonation. It's basically plain club soda. If I were to be generous, you might say it tastes like it's packed in a can that that *used* to have regular lime fizzy water in it. As for the 'ginger', it's undrinkable. Vile. The ingredients list includes 'ginger flavor'. This is a strange way to describe what seems to me to be essence of Ivory soap. Skip Langers, try something like Spindrift, Waterloo, or LaCroix, in that order.

Delicious but it might have to grow on you!
At first I thought this was too much....too gingery and too fizzy. But after the first package I found I was missing it ordering it again.

Sparkling water with barely a hint of flavor. Not worth the extra price!
If anyone were to look at my order history at Amazon, you would know that I am a sparkling water connaisseur. You would also know that I seem to be really into Owls to an unhealthy degree. Either way, I've tasted almost every type of sparkling beverage - from unflavored mineral water (Gerolsteiner is king for the piquante and miniscule bubbles) to "flavored" water ( RIP Polar's 'ade seltzers, you were too good for this world) and even fruit juice hybrids (Spindrift, get your stuff together! These prices are exorbitant!) Anyway, in the middle you have brands like Bubly, La Croix, Polar, etc. This Langers tries to meet these brands in the middle, but lacks the flavor or texture to match them. Seeing as they are almost double the price, I was surprised that they were really not as flavorful as I was expecting. They weren't bad or anything, but just didn't have the smell or flavor that say, a can of peach-pear La Croix would have. They're a solid 3, or maybe 2.7 based on their relative expense versus better-tasting other varietals. I do, however, appreciate the slim cans, which pack better than the chunky normal cans in both bags and the fridge, so that's a plus. On a side note, I was asked to rate 3 other features - Flavor - Solid 3 - not great, not bad, just is. Value - 2 since they are much more expensive for less Thickness - I have zero idea what this means so didn't rate it at all. I'd understand if it was go-gurt or like applesauce, but thick water? Can anyone tell me what this should mean?

Ginger fans will love it
I've tried just about every flavored water on the market over these last couple of years and 8 out of 10 just no thank you. Either too sweet, too bitter, too artificially engineered - you name it, i hate it lol. Langers is one of the exceptions - with this Ginger one being just perfect as far as I'm concerned. The water has the right amount of sparkly, tastes like actual water, the ginger bite to it is just wow, perfect, and not a hint of sweeteners in here which i love, i'm not a fan of sugary drinks and this one delivers on its promise. My one complaint is that the packs arrive most of the times with some form of damage, regardless of how they are shipped to me - I know handling during shipping is not on the manufacturer, but maybe they can make the packs more resistant to help with it travelling long distances? Will continue to buy it that's for sure, and maybe maybe - if anyone reads these - Langers people, your Lime water has a lot of promise too, but can you add some more Lime? thank you!

Refreshing seltzer with a strong ginger kick
Langers ginger flavored sparkling water is one of the most refreshing drinks that I've tried. The seltzer water is moderately carbonated (comparable to soda), and is unsweetened and organic. The water has a strong ginger kick and is white in color. It tastes a lot like unsweetened ginger ale. I strongly recommend refrigerating or serving over ice, though it's still drinkable at room temperature. I usually drink it straight, but I imagine that it would work well as a mixer. My only complaint is the price. While I've previously bought the same brand and size for $7.99 per pack at Woodman's, I paid $11.99 per pack on Amazon. So why did I buy this on Amazon? I haven't seen this flavor in stock at my local Woodman's in over a month, and I've tried to find a decent substitute with no luck. This should speak volumes about just how much I love this product. Unless I see this flavor again at Woodman's, I'm likely to order it again on Amazon.

Peculiar Flavor -- It's Sure Not the Ginger I Know
I was so excited to see this product. Given my recent resolve to eliminate dietary sugar wherever possible, this is the flavored water option of my dreams. When it arrived today, I chilled it, poured some over fresh ice in a clean glass, and...hmm, wow, it really isn't good. It smells fairly ginger-y, but its flavor is mighty peculiar. Having tried a few sips, I can now place what it tastes like: a cross between faint cucumber essence and bagged garden soil. Especially for the pricey tab, I'll go back to steeping fresh ginger in my non-caloric iced tea. Am now not compelled to try the other flavors, either.
