I bought this for tata indigo ecs cr4 BS4 engine. It works fine.. I have used this for about a 100km till now.. Engine runs smoothly,.. Though not as smooth as semi synthetic.. Ont thing I noticed is that the oil is not fully a ltr, I used the Castro bottle muasure as it has the measurements on the side. And it was almost 50ml short. As my car was not used for a long time, I've pored ½ ltr diesel into the engine BEFORE CHANGING the oil, and kept the engine @ idal rpm from cold start till the Coolent reach 94°c (i.e. Till the radiator fan kicks in), then drained the oil (came out easily and with most of the carbon inside the engine). Later, after changing the oil filter, I've added this Castrol CRB TURBOMAX 15W-40 CI-4 Plus engine oil. It's almost 200 Km and the oil is still clean.
