This model of Garmin watch is packed with useful features, and being a Garmin product it works as advertised. I'm not a shill for Garmin, but my lengthy experience over time with automotive GPS units, an Inreach, and a hand held GPS for my dirt motorcycle have been relatively flawless. I'm a bit of a luddite on high tech gizmos, but even I was able to figure out all the features this watch offers. The huge number of features this watch has does make it a bit fiddly to operate, but that's to be expected to some degree. Still, the controls become quite self explanatory and logical once you start using it. Frankly I didn't get this watch as much for the excellent health and fitness features it has, though I will use them. I will use it more for the outdoor features such as weather, altitude, phone connection, and many others. Also as a long range shooter, I will use the ballistic computer for quick reference situations in the field even though it is not a replacement for a full ballistic computer application. I was a little concerned about the size of this watch, but it has turned out to be practically unnoticeable when wearing it. Also the phone connection features are much more useful than I thought they'd be. I thought it might be annoying, but it's turning out to be very helpful...and you can turn off that connection permanently or during different times if you desire. A great watch.

I received my Garmin Instinct 2X GPS Whitestone Bundle and I loved it! Unfortunately, it was too large for my wrist and I didn't realize it was not a touch screen, so I returned it immediately. I was a little concerned that I had selected a 12-month payment plan, but when I notified of return the full amount was immediately charged to my card. Today is see the refund pending on my account, so I am relieved. I'm going to now purchase a Garmin that is touchscreen and a bit smaller.

Battery life averages just above 15 day. Rugged and looks good. Several watch faces to choose from to display all your data.
