This tool kit has been very helpful for cleaning up my 3D printed projects. Removing supports can sometimes be difficult, but these tools make the process much easier and more precise. The storage case is convenient for keeping everything together. The only downside is that once the cover is placed over the clippers, the case does not stay fully closed, so it feels a bit tight. Even with the storage issue, this set offers good value for the variety of tools included.

This kit is okay. All the parts are okay and do their job. The issue I have is that everything kind of feels a tad cheap or flimsy. I got this set for my 3D print projects and it works. The utility knife is small and precise like a scalpel which is nice. It has a clip on the housing that makes it convenient to put on a belt loop, but again the whole construction feels very flimsy. It’ll work for a few small projects. I’m just not very confident it’ll last. The pincers are what I really wanted this set the most for and, fortunately, while they are certainly not the best in the world, they feel okay. They seem to be decently constructed and they're nice for when I need to snip small pieces off 3D prints or cut filament. The tweezers feel cheap, but they're okay for light use. You can easily squeeze them fully closed, making the middle of them touch, so they will start bending if you plan on using any sort of pressure on them. I probably will not be making much use of them. Overall, this set is mediocre for any real work, but I know not everyone actually needs that. For kids doing a couple small projects, this can definitely be a good set to get to try things out before spending real money and time finding good tools. If you only need it for one or two quick projects like that, it should be good enough. For anything else more serious or even a moderate amount of effort, I’d recommend finding better.

Im usually apprehensive with sets like this because I feel the quality is iffy. I thought why not. Thing is cheap and I wont have much to lose if it doesnt work out. Luckily I was surprised. The cutters are comparable to my higher end Dispae cutters which lasted me years while still having a sharp edge. I feel theyre similar as theyre just as sharp and feel real nice in hand. The knife is soso. Sharp but doesnt hold its edge very long. Luckily theyre snap blades, but snapping them is a bit difficult. Tweezers are great, not too thin that itll bend but thick enough to grip the miniscule things. I sandpaper sticks are nice. I just wish the grit was a bit lower but its nice having high grit stuffs. This set works great as an entry sort of thing and its fairly cheap. If youre getting into the hobby or wanna have an extra quality back up. This is your guy!

I recently started 3D printing and was looking for nippers and tweezers. This set came with a nice set of nippers and two different types of tweezers. I got the set mostly for those tools. The other stuff I will consider mostly as a bonus. The sanding blocks passable but the hobby knife would probably be better left out of the kit. I have better quality ones, so if the hobby knife is important to you, you may want to think twice. Beyond that, get it! The value and the quality line up. The nippers are easy to hold and cut well. The tip is flush cut, and I have been reaching for it after many prints. It is also nice to cut the filament at an angle to insert it into an AMS. The nippers fit well in the hand and are easy to grab with one and use it. I printed a little holder for the side of my printer to hold it. The plastic case it comes with is crap, but I didn't intend to use it to store stuff and threw it out. The tweezers work well. The tips are thin enough for detail stuff but thick enough to not bend or misshape. The sanding blocks are ok. They get the job done. It is nice that they are stiff and can handle more edge cleanup stuff. If you are looking to do some serious sanding, I would probably reach for something else. Overall, this checked all the boxes I was looking for it to fill. It is a great value even with the odd hobby knife.

This set of model nippers is appropriate for a beginning modeller and the nippers are of basic quality for a beginner. The included tools are similar to dental tools, and are also of decent quality. The included bade is an afterthough, and I tossed. A basic exacto style knife would have been a better inclusion. Overall, this is a cheap, binner's kit, and is an okay value for a beginner.

This kit features a lot of useful tools inside, but it's definitely not that great. I think that the price would clearly indicate that too. In general, the only two decent tools are the sanding blocks and the nipper, and even then there's a bit of reservations to them. The sanding blocks work just fine. They don't have too much give to them, as in there isn't much foam backing to it, so while it might not give the same finish as something that is foam backed, it is a very straightforward and predictable sanding experience. It doesn't cover a very good range though, as 600 and 800 grit are good at cutting but neither are suitable in the least for finishing. The nipper is actually very sharp, so that's a welcomed feature. In use it is starting to dull down a wee bit, but still generally very serviceable. The single-blade design does angle to the middle of the flat end though so you simply cannot make a flush finishing cut with it. The tweezers are pretty poor. Usable but the tips are not finely finished, so they end up not being too suitable for delicate work. The metal also doesn't seem to be the best quality, and can bend when pinching items. The knife is a slightly different shape than the small box cutters I know, and the point and angles are a lot pointier than box cutters. This does let you potentially get more precise cuts, but it also doesn't since the point will be further from your grip. This is made worse with the fact that the metal that makes up the exterior of the box cutter is so soft that the blade isn't solidly held in place in your hands, making precision cuts a bit dangerous for your other hand. And finally, the box. What a crazy design decision. The box packs everything inside in a very small volume, which unless you Tetris everything back together with precision, you're never getting everything back in and closing the lid again. So, overall, it's certainly not great but can get you started.

I’ve been using this nippers tool kit for helping with my 3d prints, and I think it’s a good kit. It works well, and there’s a lot that they can be used for. The kit feels well thought out, and I think it’s a decent price. I just don’t like how cheap it does feel at times, and I really don’t think the nippers are great for anything other than plastic. Here’s what I like about this kit: - The angle on the knife is low, and really nice for cutting certain flashings - Comes with everything to start with model making - Nippers are good for plastic - I like that it comes with two different styles of tweezers Here’s what I don’t like about the kit: - The nippers are light duty (even compared to the kind you’d get with a 3d Printer) - The tweezers are not very good The problem I have with this set is the nippers, and the tweezers. The tweezers just aren’t very good. They’ll work for larger models, but they aren’t very precise compared to ones that you’d get on their own. They’re exactly how you’d expect them to be, just cheap tweezers that come in a kit. That said, if you don’t have any tweezers, these work fine, it’s just you can tell that they’re far cheaper than a good set. The next problem with this kit is the nippers. While they work for plastic, you can tell that they’re not as sharp as other flush cutters. Often times, flush cutters are designed to cut through thin, malleable metals like copper. These can’t really do that. Well, they can, but they struggle a lot more compared to other flush cutters. I would really only expect to cut plastic with these, and anything more than that I would get some side cutters, or better flush cutters. That said, if you have nothing else, and these are the only things that you can get in your budget, I think they’re fine. They’re just not as great as what I was expecting. If you’re only working with plastic (which is what basically all models are made of) these are fine. It’s cheaper when compared to getting all the tools on their own (at least on Amazon, if you’re willing to wait, you can get them cheaper elsewhere, with a bit of a bump in quality), ant at $13 I don’t think you’ll feel like you’re being ripped off.

The hobby knife has a longer blade than a standard X‑Acto style knife. It’s sharp and functional, but the kit doesn’t include any replacement blades. For someone who already has a preferred knife setup, this might not replace existing tools., but can be a great starter. Overall, the set performs well and delivers clean results on models. A good kit for beginners or as a backup set for experienced hobbyists.
