I just got these today and they already look fantastic on my wall. Setup was surprisingly easy. As soon as I downloaded the app, it connected to the control module almost immediately. I didn’t even have to create an account, which was honestly a nice change from most smart home products. The app is quick and responsive, there’s a good selection of colors and effects, and so far I haven’t had any issues with the connection. The adhesive backing also sticks extremely well to my felt wall panels, which was something I was a little worried about before installing them. My only minor complaint is the amount of wiring between all eight lights. My OCD definitely isn’t a fan of seeing all those long wires right now, but that’s more of a cable management issue than a problem with the lights themselves. Once I get everything organized and hidden, I think the finished setup is going to look amazing. The different length lights add a really nice dimension to the wall and look much more expensive once they’re installed and turned on. I’m already planning on ordering another set of eight to finish the rest of my wall, so that probably says everything about how happy I am with them.

Great product

The lights are fairly bright and responsive, solid colors are even with no major variation, eq mode picks up sound well but can be sensitive. Overall a good atmospheric light. There are some quality control issues, and one bar came with a defective section, Amazon was able to send out a replacement. The adhesive on the back is good enough on felt or foam but not sure how long it would last on any other surface. Also very light/flimsy connectors around the splitter. It's not the most solid product for the price but it works, hopefully it will last.

Set these up with a black color set of planks and the result is amazing. They look as if they were floating in mid air at night. Pictures won't do it justice.

Amazing. I love these lights!!! Easy to install. Great app allows you to operate the lighting modes from your phone. There are endless possibilities for a light show. The quality is great! Nothing bad to say about this lighting system!! Love it!

Wahwah.. ok these are not the best for acoustic slat wall panels - not real ones with thick felt in the gap areas - adhesive like this does NOT stick WELL to this material well and becomes an embarrassing mess. These need a flat smooth WELL CLEANED SURFACE further I would not adhesive to the surface of my panels either. Other lights I have in my acoustic slat panel have metal clips screwed in that the LIGHTs snap into - much better design - solid stays in place easy to reconcider and move later . I like the lights, controller , wiring , colors , and the overall package they are built outcl really nice BUT these are more suited to wood slat paneling or plastic slat panel ( though might rip off the stickers on that junk).I can not recommend unless you have a plan or FIND clips to avoid the double stick thing - itS like trying to double stick onto the thick felt you use under furniture..try this before you buy ..stick something with LITTLE weight into it and leave it for a few days - it likely comes off - you cant really clean felt with alcohol + if it does by some miracle stick the way I would need it to- then -if I ever want it gone thats going to be ugly goo mess as well. Overall nice lights I'd say do anything else with them ,shelving unit , undercab, that cool recess in your ceiling ... etc .. keep them off your $$ acoustic paneling - not the best method of mounting on felt. I will use somewhere else thanks .. this rating reflects the suggested and intended use.. overall id give these 4stars for use in any other scenario ..not involving felt backed slat board paneling .

My home office has a lovely wooden slat wall backed with thick felt. These lights fit perfectly in the grooves between the wood and provide a decent amount of light at full brightness. The colors are vibrant, and between the included wireless remote and the robust free app control, you can spend hours playing with the patterns and colors. With the app, you can trigger the lights with sound and music for a more immersive experience. The build quality is decent, especially on the light bars themselves. The connecting wires are thin, but that helps them to blend in against the black felt background on many slat walls. The control box feels a bit flimsy, but you'll likely connect all your wires to it and do your best to hide it on the floor and forget it exists. The only real problem with this kit lies in the mounting, which is supposed to be done via the double-sided tape that's on the back of each light bar. While this might be an OK solution on a smooth, hard surface, such as glass or sheet metal, it's not a long-term solution on a felt panel. Using the tape, I think these stayed on my wall for less than ten minutes. To solve the mounting issue, I wound up drilling a drywall screw most of the way into the wall right under each bar to support its weight. Then, I did the same at the top of each bar, with the head of the screw overlapping the top of the bar to help keep it in place. Since then, they haven't moved, and my wall looks amazing. For the price, this kit is hard to beat. The lights look great, and they're really versatile. You'll just have to figure out how you can install them. My method works just fine if you don't mind drilling more screws into your wall. Overall, recommended.
