is there a way to stabilize a stone to make slices ?

I normally do it by hand with small stones. Doesn't always work, due to the human factor. I've tried sandwiching pieces between 2 pieces of wood with better results. Don't clamp too tight or you'll pinch the blade. I use a small tile saw for most slabs, as the DB-100 isn't recommended for slabs. Hope this helps.

No, this machine does not accept a mitre gauge.
