They are comfortable to wear with a good fit and reasonable support whilst being light weight. The non-slip sole makes them safer and the hook-and-loop strap makes it easy for children to put on quickly. The toe cap adds a nice extra protection, whilst the outer sole, which is quite thick, provides good shock absortion. I ordered a Navy blue pair, they look really cool and suitable for sports or casual wear. The price at the time of review was around £19, which is reasonable.

I ordered these to use as school trainers for my son and overall they have been a really good practical choice. The all black colour keeps it looking smart enough for school, which was important, and it blends in well with uniform without looking too sporty. The velcro strap makes it really quick for him to get it on and off himself, and I really like that it has the look of laces without the hassle, it just makes mornings easier. It feels very lightweight when he is wearing it and he said it was comfortable straight away without needing any wearing in. The sole has a decent bit of cushioning which seems fine for playground running around and everyday walking. It feels breathable too, which is nice, although it does mean it is probably better for dry days rather than heavy rain. For general school use though it has been doing exactly what I wanted it to do. At the current price of £18.91 it feels like good value for a simple everyday pair. It does not feel super premium and I am not expecting it to last forever, but for a growing kid that is not really a big issue. Ordered these for my 7 y/o daughter for PE and general everyday use. First impression - they are very lightweight to hold, but the sole is notably thick and chunky compared to her usual trainers. When she first tried them on, she said the heel felt a bit high. Checking them by hand, the heel is definitely higher than it normally should be. However, after 3 weeks of daily wear, she finds them very comfortable and says she likes the extra height they give her. Despite being a budget pair price-wise, the build quality is good. Nothing has come unglued or frayed after 3 weeks of running and playing. The padding around the ankle is thicker than I expected it would be, providing decent support. The laces are just decorative and the trainers fasten with hook and loop straps. The mesh material at the front allows for good airflow, so her feet don't get too hot, but they aren't waterproof. You will need to keep them away from puddles, rain and wet grass. Overall, these are a solid choice if you want to avoid paying top prices for trainers that will probably last about the same.

These shoes are incredibly lightweight, they barely weigh a thing. It does make me question how durable they will be as they do not feel solidly made. Part of the reason they are so light is that much of the top of the shoe is made from mesh. This also means that they are not waterproof, so they are not a particularly suitable choice for a school shoe to be used in the winter as the child's foot gets wet when worn in the rain. My son found them comfortable from the minute he put them on, they did not need any wearing in. They fasten with a velcro strap which he found easy to do but did find that the tongue sometimes popped over the top of it which confused him a bit. My son needs to wear orthotic insoles and was able to put them into these shoes and still wear them comfortably. I got a size 12 for my son who wears a size 11.5-12 and they fit well, so I would say they are true to size.

I ordered these trainers in the black and red, in a size 1, for my son, and they are honestly great. The black and red design with the white soles is great. They stand out and offer a little extra something over standard black trainers. The trainers are Velcro, which fastens securely but not so tight that my son (7 years old) can't undo them. They work really well. The trainers are comfortable and true to size. They don't pinch or squeeze. They also wash well after being trodden through mud! Washed in the washing machine and dried on top of a radiator, and they are good as new. The trainers/soles themselves are also great quality. Good stitching, and everything as it should be. Nice materials. I would recommend. Great value for money at £21.99 at the time of reviewing.

The first thing I noticed about these trainers are how thick the sole is - they'll easily make your little one an inch taller! The hook and loop fastening mechanism works well and is easy to use. There's a reasonable amount of padding at the back of the ankle and they seem well made - the material used seems of good quality and there isn't a large amount of unsightly excess glue holding things together. They seem like a durable pair of trainers. They're a stylish design and colour - black and red always looks cool. More importantly, my nephew loves wearing them so they must be pretty comfortable! In my opinion, they could be worn with any outfit. However, at the current price of £21.99, they seem very expensive for a no-name pair of kids trainers. I'm sure you'll find comparable trainers far cheaper on the high street.

I have never had shoes from the brand "HOIYHEK" before being given the chance to test & review these kids trainers. They arrive in a clear plastic bag as opposed to being in a cardboard shoebox and all seems good as far as I am concerned. Obviously I am an adult man so I didn't order these for myself but for a little boy. They seem to fit him OK (again as far as I can tell!) he says they fit fine and feel comfortable on so I have to take his word for it. From my point of view I handled them when they first arrived fairly obviously, and they seem reasonably well-made, sturdy-soled kids trainers as far as I could tell. I went for the black/red colour variety and I think they are good for many occasions and going with different outfits, with them being fairly neutral in colour & style. I've no reason to be anything other than happy here. The only test they have not passed at this point is the test of time - but based on what I've seen so far I've no reason to believe that we won't get a good amount of use out of them. Happy to give a five star review at this point, but if they suddenly fall apart I'll come back and edit the review. If you're reading this in the distant future and there's no edits then you can take that as "no news is good news".
