GHK-CU Copper Peptide Hair Growth Serum Spray, Copper Peptide Scalp Serum

If this serum detangled hair then it would have truly been a miracle product. It has a really lovely fragrance, the copper is instantly recognisable in it. I was hesitant about using it, but after noticing some thinning in the middle of my scalp I decided to give it a go, applying it to freshly shampooed scalp and hair as advised. The first good sign was that the serum did NOT make my scalp burn or tingle. It is quite thin, actually watery, and it did slightly dampen the roots around the thinning spots which I targeted with the spray, but not so much as to make it a sopping mess. No adverse effects have been experienced thus far. Now I know that it will take a while to see evidence of hair growth, but one immediate effect which I noticed was that my hair had a lot more volume and looked fuller, even around the thinning areas. Whether this is the intended effect of the serum remains to be seen, but I am intrigued. I kept parting my hair to look at the thin spots and they really did look different after just this one treatment. Days later and that "fuller" effect has remained. I am becoming less paranoid about my hair falling in such a way that the bald spot in the middle will be revealed. My biggest fear, that this serum would make my hair fall out, has thankfully not materialised. In fact, there are fewer hairs in the brush after using this serum, so I am becoming more optimistic. And this is from someone who does NOT believe in miracle drugs, so that's saying something! The thing is, this serum does not go very far - even if only one spot is targeted, it won't last more than 8 applications with sparing use. It means that customers will need to purchase one of these every other week if they wash their hair every day. At £12.99, the product is not expensive, but it would not take long for it to add up to a lot. Still, it is worth a try, and it smells amazing, even if the scent does not linger in the hair.

However I imagine it is one of those things that takes time to show any significant effect and you need to keep using it long term. 4. Quality of product: Good. 5. Value for money: No. At time of ordering this cost £12.99. To me it’s a little expensive if you need to purchase it at least every 2-3 weeks.

It's non-greasy so it doesn't weigh down my roots or leave any sticky residue behind, so I can comfortably use it in the morning and style my hair as normal. The combination of GHK-CU copper peptides and hair growth oils feels very nourishing and revitalizing on the scalp. The roots feel healthier from the roots up. While I haven't seen a massive change in hair density or growth yet, I wouldn't expect to see those results for at least 4-8 weeks anyway. I'm giving this 4 stars based on the formula and ease of use, and I will update my review once I’ve finished the bottle. Non-Greasy Formula This is the biggest win for me. Most hair oils leave my hair looking like I haven't washed it for days, but this serum absorbs really well. I can apply it in the morning, put my normal hair product in my hair, and go about my day without any oily residue. Easy Application The spray bottle makes it very simple to target specific areas of the scalp (like the hairline or crown) without making a mess. Scalp Feel It feels quite soothing when applied. I haven’t experienced any itching, redness, or irritation, which is a relief as I have a somewhat sensitive scalp. The Science GHK-CU (Copper Peptide) is a well-regarded ingredient in the hair growth space, so the ingredients list itself is quite impressive for the price point. I was drawn to this due to it's name in the peptide space as the "pretty peptide" which taken in a different form (not this spray) can improve your skin and also hair, however don't spray this on your face it's purely for your hair growth!! I'm waiting to see if it actually delivers on the "thickening" promise. Scent it has a very faint "clinical" smell. It’s not unpleasant, but it’s definitely not a perfumed product. Verdict If you’re looking for a hair growth treatment that doesn’t ruin your hairstyle or make your hair greasy, this is definitely worth a try. Firstly I love that it doesn't make my hair greasy. There is nothing worse that putting something on the scalp area and it looks like you dipped your head in a chip pan. I'm hoping that it's a good sign that I haven't seen as much breakages. Can't say that I have overly notice if my hair is feeling fuller or not but then I have only been using it for under a month. I think I would need to use it longer to be able to properly say how good or bad it is but at the moment initially I am impressed. I thought with it being Copper peptides it would have a horrible copper penny type smell but I haven't noticed any smell from it which is good. No one wants stinky hair, especially if they have only just washed it. I will continue using it and hope that my hair is healthier in 6 months.

I also liked that it’s completely scent free. I haven’t noticed any change in my hair texture yet, but it did leave my scalp feeling moisturised and helped calm some itchiness. Another big plus is that it didn’t make my hair look greasy or feel heavy, which can happen with a lot of scalp products. So far, it feels lightweight and comfortable to use.

This scalp serum is lightweight and easily absorbed without leaving behind and sticky or greasy residue. It comes in a spray bottle so is quick and easy to apply. It doesn’t have any noticeable scent and feels gentle on my scalp; I have not experienced any irritation. I have not been taking it long enough to comment on hair growth results (it can take quite some time to see results), however I am happy with how moisturising and soothing it feels on my scalp. I think it is good value and worth a try!
