Outstanding.
These power line adaptors with built in WifFi are utterly brilliant. We had been struggling with cheaper power line adaptors provided by our internet service provider (BT). We just couldn’t get a strong and stable enough signal to our TV to enable streaming of digital services, such as Netflix. These adaptors are four times as fast, and it shows. Happily streaming HD now, with no interruptions. The built-in wiFi is also great. I had a second router connected to my old power line adaptors before, but this is much simpler. Could not believe how easy they were to set up. Worked straight out of the box on Ethernet. Then only two buttons to press to map across the SSID and password with Witeless WPS, and now my Wi-fi network is seamlessly across the whole house. Magic.

Impressive
Used this to extend my home network to a Outside garage work room that is 14 metres away from my house and provide WiFi in the garden too.. I did not want to run an Ethernet cable, too much hassle, and would need a switch/hub installation in the garage. Now have WiFi in my garden all the way to the boundary 30m garden and Lan access from the office for 2 devices. Speeds are good - only sometimes 10 to 15% less than speeds in the house. Also worth mentioning- the power to my outside work room is via the main house consumer fuse box on a separate ring to the house wall power points and then through a 2nd fused consumer box in the garage. So both devolo units are as far away from each other as they possibly could be power line wise with a couple of "hops" at least in the path too, it is old wiring too. Only niggle on set up was I had to hold /press the reset button on the router side devolo adapter to get the white light flashing. This method is in the instructions trouble shooting section. You can change passwords; secure the access points; set power saving modes; schedule off time; and do everything you would need to via the app. I am really impressed with the speeds, 3 of us in the garden all on WiFi, either surfing, streaming and uploading, no noticeable problems and great connection. Web app is easy to use to if you know what you are doing.

4 times as fast as current mesh
Really good and fast, I run a Zyxel multi X mesh network and its bulletproof but my speeds can vary, I installed these plugs as my TPlink 1200s kept on dropping connection, house is old wiring from the 60s, day installation was pretty straight forward use the smaller of the 2 as your router link and the large ones as remote nodes, connection seems stable and the WiFi is fast when compared to my Zyxel which normally reruns about 40meg a sec this new device Max’s at about 230 meg at the moment my internet is a 500mg virgin unit. Over all great device will add more nodes if they stay stable over the coming weeks, FYI I also have known devices that interfere with mesh Sonus microwave sect phones this seems to cut through it all

Quick and reliable power line with Wifi
We’ve had power line from devolo before, but needed to add WiFi to boost our signal around our 3 storey house. They work well, nice WiFi signal and the power line back end is great to ensure everything is nice and quick back and from the router. Setup was a bit problematic with it failing to join new units easily to the network, but once setup its worked flawlessly. I like the option to schedule the WiFi to turn off in the night when no one will be using it to save power.

Perfect! -- even from garden office with separate fuse box
I bought these to replace my dlan 500s, which had worked very well for several years, but with my wife and I both working from home the system was getting overloaded. I have a router which provides both 4G and 5G, and this switches invisibly between the two to get the fastest possible connection, so I will have three devices on 5G and 1 on 4G. It works perfectly in my garden office, which has its own fuse box -- as did the dlan 500s. When I ran into trouble with the dlans technical support were extremely helpful, inviting me to send them photos of my set up so they could diagnose the problem. And, last but not least, the whole thing is extremely easy to set up. Before I came to devolo I used boosters made by another market leading company -- try as I might I could never get them to work! Because I had had good experience with devolo in the past I happily ignored the negative reviews: I suggest you do the same.

Seriously Flawed
I have had so much difficulty providing WiFi throughout the house that I was prepared to pay £270 for this product and another satellite node. I had high expectations based on reviews of other Devolo products. It was very easy to install, but I found in operation it was seriously flawed: - satellite nodes kept going offline. The house button would blink or light red. I would have to restart them by switching them off and on. They would then be fine for a few hours, and then the problem would reoccur. I don't understand why they can't restart themselves. If they run fine after restarting, clearly fault handling is poorly coded and lacks resilience. - an offline satellite continues to offer WiFi!! Why!! It isn't connected to the internet! This completely breaks the mesh topology, because a laptop will bind to the strongest signal even if there is no connectivity. This drove me up the wall, I'd have to go around checking to find which satellite was disconnected from the router, and restart it. - the App works but offers no useful fault diagnostics. I was hoping I could discover an error log with decent RX/TX error rates etc, but no - nothing useful to help me understand what was happening. So the product was sent back. It is a nice product, but for that price I would have expected much better resilience. I have used TPLink Powerline adaptors for years (on the same mains circuit) and they have been bulletproof. They just didn't provide me with WiFi, and that is what I needed.
