i don’t know who needs to hear this but if your sleeves have ever dipped into your wudu, brushed against your dinner, knocked over a cup, or just generally moved through life like they pay rent here, this is for you. because why are they like that. why are they always reaching. who are they trying to impress. i have personally been betrayed mid-salah by a rogue sleeve more than once. just minding my business, spiritually focused, and suddenly i’m negotiating with fabric like we’re in a hostage situation. this one though. no incidents. no negotiations. no sudden plot twists. peace has been restored in the household. the tie cuffs? life changing. and i don’t say that lightly because i’ve been lied to before. you can leave the sleeves loose when you want that soft, floaty, “i read poetry near a window” energy, but the second you need to actually do anything you tie them and suddenly your sleeves remember their upbringing. contained. respectful. no longer trying to get involved in wudu like an overenthusiastic assistant. and crucially, the length is behaving. i cannot stress this enough. i have worn abayas that felt like they were trying to slowly pull me back into the earth. this one just… exists at a normal, reasonable distance from the floor. i walked. i turned. i lived. no dramatic foot entanglements. personal growth. the fabric is soft in a way that feels emotionally stable. not that suspicious slippery softness where you’re like what is this made of, not stiff like it resents you. just comfortable, breathable, and very easy to wear for hours without becoming hyperaware of your own existence. there’s also a hidden front zipper which i didn’t think i’d care about but now i’m like oh. this is nice. easy to get on, adjustable neckline, and it doesn’t ruin the clean look. quietly useful. we love a humble overachiever. and now. the price. i need everyone to sit down. this costs roughly four iced chai lattes. four. i’m sorry but when did abayas start costing the equivalent of a small business investment. some of these prices look like you’re also funding expansion plans and taking on partial ownership of the brand. be serious. this one said no. we are returning to sanity. it looks good, feels good, behaves itself, and doesn’t require you to enter a period of financial reflection afterwards where you stare at your bank app in silence. ✨tl;dr✨ deeply cooperative. spiritually supportive. sleeves no longer freelancing. i have nothing further to add.

This abaya is wonderfully made and has a look that actually reminds me of a medieval chemise in the best way. The fabric is soft, has a nice weight to it, and drapes beautifully while still feeling breathable. Even though it’s 100% polyester, it doesn’t feel stuffy at all, and I can easily see it being comfortable in warm weather. The construction is excellent. The zipper is good quality and blends in so well that it’s almost invisible when worn. The fit is loose and comfortable, nothing clings to the body, and on me it falls right to the ankles. The tie cuffs are a lovely detail and give the sleeves a nice flounce, though they’re definitely easier to tie if someone else can help. Overall, it’s a very comfortable, well‑made piece with a graceful, flowing look. I’m really happy with it.
