REVIEW OF THE HUGERSTAR TELESCOPE
First thing I have to say is that this is the first time I have used a Telescope so this review is based just on my own opinion After looking at numerous telescopes on Amazon and reading different reviews I decided to purchase the HUGERSTAR TELESCOPE.. The product arrived slightly ahead of schedule and seemed to be in perfect condition on arrival..I was delighted to see a carry case also came with the Telescope as well as three eye pieces and a Barlow lens as well as a few other accessories.. After some daytime practice I used the Telescope to view the moon ..Using he Telescope with a midrange magnification I was blown away by the view and have no problem giving five stars for this alone The image was very crisp and clear and with a rather 3 D effect ( or at least in my mind ) Even my wife who has no interest in astronomy was very impressed. Unfortunately since the arrival of the Telescope it has mostly been cloudy here in the UK so I have been unable to look at much else apart from Jupiter which I mention a little more below... Although a very good telescope I found as a beginner I came across some problems which are not really mentioned in the instruction pamphlet .So to help anyone faced with the same issues I have posted some hints below with photos to help above . 1 The view finder ....I found it very difficult to set the view finder even with the adjustable screws, then I found if I wrapped a thin layer of clear tape around the view finder tube and place back inside the cylinder barrel I could then set straight away .. 2 Holding The Telescope at a steeper position angle .....I tried to tighten the adjustable lever on the neck of the telescope but I found the telescope would not stay in position.... however in the second photo I show where to take the blue cap of and adjust inside with an Allen key should this be a problem 3 ...Viewing Angle ..... while trying to view Jupiter I found this to difficult because Jupiter was to high in the night sky as the tripod stand does not extend high enough. In the third photo I brought 25 mm black plastic tubing with three small plastic two way connecters to attach to the existing tripod legs ...I removed the rubber suckers from the base of the existing tripod and replaced onto the base of the three black plastic attached tubes ...My wife could not tell I had extended the original telescope tripods But apart from these early problems I would say the telescope is great value for money.... It seems to strike a level of going beyond a toy telescope but not to expensive at the same time.... Norman Price

This is a great telescope for beginners or even for advanced stargazers!!
My brother is really into boy scouts and goes on lots of camping trips with his kids. While camping they are always looking at the stars. For my brother's birthday I got him this telescope so that he can have more fun stargazing!! It allows for crisp, bright views of celestial objects, making his stargazing nights truly captivating. The level of detail he can observe, from the moon's craters to distant galaxies, is truly awe-inspiring. The 800mm refractor is an excellent focal length, striking a perfect balance between magnification and field of view. It provides a clear and well-defined image without sacrificing the ability to explore larger sections of the night sky. It's a versatile telescope that suits a variety of astronomical observations. The telescope feels sturdy and well-constructed, ensuring stability during use. The assembly is straightforward, and my brother was able to start observing the night sky within a short period. The quality of the optics, combined with the user-friendly design, provides an exceptional stargazing experience that rivals more expensive models. This is a great telescope for beginners or even for advanced stargazers!! Terrific purchase.

Great for the price
I received a quiet early and I'm looking forward to using it on the night when it's not raining. I'll upload pictures when that happens.

Not worth it
Bought this for my daughter. These were her gripes as follows: 1) The tripod. It's flimsy as heck. It's not stable. Doesn't lock into place. When the telescope is on it, it slowly dips forward. Despite everything being tightened. It's too top heavy. 2) Despite being able to find the moon in the finder scope, trying to see it through the eye piece was impossible. It was blurry & the telescope kept listing to the side. Not worth your money.

Beginner friendly, easy to setup and carry
The telescope is made with quality material. The workmanship of the product is good. It comes with a manual for setup. Setup is easy. I could set it up in less than 10 minutes. It has a nice, sturdy, and adjustable tripod. It comes with a finder scope. It makes it easy to target the telescope on the object. Without it focusing on the object will be a nightmare as the objects move far away even with the slightest movement of the telescope. Both lenses come with a cover. It protects them from dust and damage during movement. It comes with a nice carry bag. It also has a phone mount. So you can take the pictures of the objects. With my iPhone 15 pro max, it was a little bit tricky as it has 3 lenses. But the phone mount is handy. I observed the moon and it looked fantastic. I could see the craters on the moon. Its 90 mm does play a vital role in revealing the details. With this telescope, one should be able to see Saturn with its ring quite distinguishable. The telescope is lightweight. It can be carried easily for excursion. This telescope does a wonderful job that it is built for.

Didnt like it...
We put it together, but it doesn’t show anything through the main scope. It’s just a blurry color no matter what area you’re using it in, even outside.
