Great pad, the covering seems like it would be very durable and last longer than previous pads I’ve purchased..perfect size for youth football training…Only knock is it took about 2 days for the pad to get to full size after taking it out of the vacuum sealed bag.

Didn’t inflate properly

Bought this with high hopes that my kids could use it for practice. I followed the instructions when opening and let it sit for well over 24 hours and only one half of the cushion inflated. As it is now it is not usable. :( the side that did expand is only about 4 inches thick and I believe the pad should be about 5 inches thick also.

Probably ok for kids

Received the product and followed the instructions for assembly and expansion of the inner foam. Despite this and waiting over a week the product has failed to fully expand within the cover. After two months it has expanded minimally. The cover seems to be in the thinner side but the handles and seams had areas with double stitching. I tried my hardest to rip the handles off and could not damage it so it all appears to be of adequate quality and durability but the material does have a cheaper feel to it. I placed this on my body while punching down hard and could barely feel anything through the foam but I’m sure a kick would be more noticeable. This is very lightweight so energy transfer will still be noticeable across the size of the pad which is on the medium size. This is probably an adequate pad for smaller kids but I wouldn’t recommend it for high school age or above.

Big Block pad

This blocking pad is great for my daughter to practice her martial arts kicks at home. It has handles where you can hold the pad upright or sideways. You must first let it air out so it can expand.

Great teaching device

My son plays both basketball and football so this was a NO brainer as far as purchases goes! The material is great quality and the size is perfect for him (he’s a big 9 year old). Would absolutely recommend buying for kiddos in sports to help up their skills at home
