The fabric has some stretch and is extremely soft and has kind of a soft texture to it. I can easily see myself holding my grandbaby and rocking her on this fabric. The color will easily blend it to any decor. I love that you will be able to take it off and wash it when it gets dirty. I took the cover out of the package to take the pictures and wash it. It washed very well. I dried in on air, not on any heat and then pulled it out to finish drying by hanging it up. The stitches held up very well and it did not pill. When I tried to put it back in it, I did struggle putting it back in and zipping it. Granted you will not need to do that if you actually use the cover. The pouch seems to be kind of a waterproof fabric, but I have to test it out so I think it could easily be used to hold other things around the house. I got this for my grandbaby's rocker in her bedroom since the cat has used her claws on it. When my daughter-in-law sends me pictures and how it fits, I will update this review and add the pictures to this review.

Not worth it. Fit is off, no instructions, very cheap material
I was not to pleased with this cover. It's very thin and low-quality material, like see-through thin. The sizing is also way off. I measured, and it should have fit my chair perfectly, but it's huge. There were no instructions or helpful tags labeling the front or back, so it took me a while to figure out how to put it on. There are also these long strings on the bottom hem, but I have no idea how or where they are supposed to tie onto (again, no instructions were included). Overall, don't waste your money. I would not recommend this cover

Fits well, washes clean, protects without looking like a slipcover
This cover has been through regular washing cycles and continued daily use on a glider-style rocking chair with wood legs, and it holds up well on both counts. The fit stays put through actual rocking use, which is the main failure point of covers in this category. It doesn't bunch at the seat or slip off the back after a few hours of use. The side pocket is a practical addition that earns its keep for remotes, burp cloths, or a phone. Material feels substantial without being stiff, and it softens slightly after the first few washes without losing its shape. Color consistency has held through repeated laundering. The honest caveat is that fit does depend on chair dimensions, so measuring the seat, back, and arm height against the listed specs before ordering is worth the two minutes. For a recliner-style glider that sees daily use and needs protection without sacrificing the look of the room, this is a well-thought-out option.

This Dipurman Nursery Rocking Chair Cover is decorative but good for a rather specific chair shape.
This Dipurman Nursery Rocking Chair Cover is highly attractive but it is not suitable for heavy or constant wear. The grid pattern short fleece flocking is soft to the touch and thick enough to withstand more wear than the overall fabric. Photo 3 shows the not too tightly woven sheer elastic backing with the light easily shining through it. If that were more tightly woven it would likely endure more wear than I anticipate this one doing. As seen in photo 2 it does not have the center back & center front label that comparable ones do which make it easier to know which way to start slipping the cover over the chair. Once that is figured out it slides over the chair fairly easily. Getting the arms straightened out and situated is the most difficult part but that is not too arduous. These elastic slipcovers are not generally made to accommodate every chair type and they rarely fit like they do on the chair in their listing which looks like the cover was custom fitted for that specific chair type. I knew the cover arms would not fit my glider arms like it does on the chair in the listing. The cover arms measure approximately 24" and they hang over my 20" arms. It seems to be made for a lower rise arm also because it allows about a 16" drop from the end of its' arm seam to the bottom of the chair. The combination of those two factors create a baggy look at and below the arm. Though the intended circumference of the bottom of the cover is greater than the circumference of my chair, the elastic is strong enough to tuck the bottom well under my chair creating a shirred effect around the bottom from the excess fabric. I acquired this cover to cloak the chair but intended to place a cover pad like that in photo 7 on the interior of the chair to withstand heavier and routine wear. I currently have a comparable cover to this one on a recliner chair but immediately placed a secondary pad over its' interior like the one in photo 7 knowing it would not hold up to my daily use. With a secondary pad on the interior the cover should last a long time, but without it I think it's more decorative than practical. It did not arrive with the side pocket specified in the listing. If this is intended for an infrequently used chair then it's fine, but on its' own for daily use I can't recommend it. I rate it 3 stars because it's attractive but because of the sheer base fabric for upholstery use I must leave it at that.
