Didn’t realize that rough handling in shipping added a dent that caused the blades to hit the side. Had to take it apart and use a rubber mallet to get it working smoothly. Runs fine now so far.

The fan is wonderful! Assembly time is at least two hours unless you have assembled one before. The second or subsequent assembly times drop with experience. A cordless screw driver with a socket adapter and metric sockets is almost a must to expedite the process. Watch the 10-minute build video for some tips not included in the instructions. Also, a native English speaker should be brought in to edit the instruction manual to help eliminate vagueness in some cases. Pay attention to the "5A" part location in the video, as the book does not mention anything about it.

Fan blows exceptionally well. Followed instructions to a T and ended up with plenty extra parts. Doesn't seem the most durable but time will tell with extended use.

Moves air well

Very powerful fan. It moves a large volume of air for its 36" size. I had an issue with missing parts and Happy Tao was very reputable and resolved all issues. The noise level is appropriate for a fan this size.

This Albott 36-inch drum fan is a serious piece of equipment built for industrial spaces, and it has been a game-changer for ventilation and cooling in my large outdoor pole barn. The key feature here is the powerful copper AC motor; it delivers the kind of efficient, high-velocity airflow you need to move serious volumes of air. Even on the medium setting (around 16,300 CFM), it effectively creates a cross-breeze across the entire barn floor, which is critical for clearing dust and paint fumes during projects. The heavy-duty metal construction and ETL safety certification give me confidence that this unit is built to withstand the grime and occasional bump of a working shop environment. The design features are well-suited for my use. The large rolling wheels and the side handle make it surprisingly easy to maneuver the 36-inch unit across concrete floors and uneven terrain, and the triangle-structured frame keeps it incredibly stable, even when running at maximum speed (18,600 CFM). I also appreciate the enhanced safety features, like the dense yellow metal grille that keeps fingers away from the blades and the cooling vents on the motor, which are crucial for longevity during long, hot summer workdays. It certainly runs quieter than previous shop fans I’ve owned, minimizing the noise that echoes inside the metal structure. I'm removing one star due to the length of the power cord. While the quality of the cord is excellent, the 5-foot length is simply too restrictive for a fan designed for large, commercial or industrial spaces. In a big barn or warehouse, outlets are often few and far between, meaning you absolutely must use an extension cord just to position the fan where you need it, even if you’re moving it only a few feet from the wall. This is a minor inconvenience, but a 10-foot cord would make this a truly perfect setup. Otherwise, this is a phenomenal, heavy-duty fan that performs exactly as advertised.
