These work really well for creating waves in my extremely long and thick hair. I actually bought two of them and connected them because I need four on each side to do my hair. I also did it in the tighter curls so that way the weight of my hair wouldn't pull it out quite so quickly.

Up front- I like that this has 4 rods instead of two, and even though I have very fine hair, using the standard versions of these hasn’t worked as well, because my hair never fully dries. So that’s a big plus. Sadly, the comb in the top of mine was not properly sewn in to the head strap, so I need to fix that. And I’m not really sure if that’s better than just using a clip. Lastly, I’m not sure the ends are the best for achieving anything other than Utah curls, which I’m definitely not going for. This could very well be user error though, and I appreciate attempts to improve. It worked for me, but not quite as well as it maybe could have.

The Goody Satin Heatless Hair Curler is a quality product with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. I watched a few tutorial videos to figure out the best technique for the type of curls I wanted, and once I got the hang of it, I was happy with the results. The center clip did come loose after the third use, but that may have been due to me pulling it tightly while wrapping my hair. Overall, it’s comfortable to wear, easy to use, and a great option for creating heatless curls.

Really great heatless curler! I’ve tried so many different types and this was definitely the most comfortable to sleep in. The material is very soft and silky. The comb at the top is very convenient for anchoring it in place. I used it on dry hair and the results were great!

I get the prettiest, large voluminous waves from this curler. I have long thick hair and hate how long it takes to do it. This is actually comfortable for me to sleep in as a side sleeper.

Hard to use. Doesn't stay in place

These remind me of the old school way of using fabric to curl hair. These are so simple to use, you just wrap your hair around the rods and either go about your day or sleep. I don’t have a whole lot of hair, and my hair is very easily manipulated into curls/waves so this gave me a very voluminous retro curl look. However, with my mom we tried them and it was much less curl and more subtle waves probably due to the fact she has at least 3 times the amount of hair that I do. I did this with clean dry hair and really just love that i don’t have to add heat or burn myself with a curling wand. A little hair oil after to tame frizz and I was good to go. I would use those if i needed a nice look without much effort the next day or even on vacation for something easy.
