These plastic cups are great for all sorts of things and not just smoothies. I got them for fruit juice and smoothies but my husband has co-opted several of them for beer as it saves washing up. To be honest, these would be great for parties, especially for children. Hold a good amount but you could fill them to about three quarters for lesser thirsts. The lids do have a cross cut into them for easy insertion of a straw so they are not spill proof. They are fairly easy to pop on to the top of the plastic pot and do seat nicely. The cross is large enough to take the wide bore straws required by Boba as well. The cups themselves are quite squishy when empty but get some decent rigidity when liquid is added - particularly if it is a thicker consistency such as a milkshake or smoothie. I have used a few for sorting building bricks for a big project I am working on and they work really well for separating things out and the lids do stop the bricks scattering everywhere when I inevitably knock them over.

As we start to move closer to the festive season, these cups will be ideal for use with any family gatherings that we have, where food and drink will be available on a buffet. Why make yourself loads of washing up when you can dispose of your cups in the recycling? These cups currently sell for £12.99, which makes them just 26p each - which is very good value for money, and a huge time saver on the clearing up. For that reason alone, I am only too happy to recommend them.

I ordered these cups as I'm trying to have a smoothie for breakfast, as I regularly run out of time in a morning, these cups looked like the perfect solution for taking my smoothie with me when I leave. The cups arrived in a big stack of cups, and another big stack of lids, I hadnt actually thought how much room 50 cups would take up, so you might want to bear that in mind if you're short of cupboard space. The cups themselves are sturdy enough, but if youre planning on reusing them I think they would need handwashing. The lids fasten on securely, and are fairly spill resistant, but not spillproof as they do have the slot for the straw already cut into the top. Overall they are really useful cups, they seem well made, and at the time of writing this review they are only £8.69, which makes them just over 17p per cup, so are in my opinion also very good value. I am very pleased with them, and happy to recommend them.

These plastic Disposable Smoothie Cups with Lids, with Dome Lids arrived in a plastic bag which is great because they are compactly packed and are easy to store this way. The pack contains 50 cups and 50 lids which is quite a lot for this price. Each cup can fill around 16oz of liquid plus cream in the dome lid on top. The cups are very nicely and sturdy made and don’t bend when holding. It is suitable for hot and cold drinks and look great too. I love it that it has an opening on the top in the dome lid which is quite big to fit a bigger straw. These cups look so nice, especially when you have cold drinks like smoothies , frappes or shakes in it at parties or at home. Highly recommend it and are worth the price

My kids are always after the really expensive smoothies/whipped cream milkshakes that the coffee shops sell - and they are soooo expensive - but now I've bought this set of 50 smoothie cups with the domed lids I can cheaply and easily replicate the takeaway style of drink and its brilliant for play dates and treats ! The cups are very similar to the coffee shop style ones - maybe a little less thick and robust - but as they are only single use they are more than suitable for purpose. The straw pushed into the top hole (a cross slit - pretty basic) and the domed lids provide ample room for squirty cream swirls and fit on the cups well. Ideal too for sleepover parties, or kids parties in general - really adds a nice touch of premium/luxe to 50 home made smoothies for the price of two purchased in the shops !!

I ordered these 16oz plastic smoothie cups to use at a Christmas party and they're really good and more than suitable for my intended purpose. You get plenty of cups (50) and enough matching domed lids to cover them. Each cup is capable of holding a fair amount of liquid and because the lids are curved you can add things like cream etc without compromising on liquid space. Each lid also has a hole in the top for a straw which is great. The cups are well made and the lids fit really tightly. They all arrived in good condition and while they are a little on the thin side and not quite what you'd see in Costa or Starbucks they're still a very good approximation. They're certainly usable and not bad at all. Overall I like them. They're good for parties and events and great for kids drinks. Recommended.
