Hi, I guess but it's a amazing cold brewer and there are other things like a V60 or aeropress that would be more suitable.

can you brew hot coffee and if so how long does it take from start to finish ?

Although we recommend our pour over brewer for hot coffee this can be used for hot coffee follow all the same directions using hot water and allowing to steep for 2-3 minutes

Does this make hot coffee?

Hi, officially this is for Cold Brew however I have used these for hot filtered coffee and it produces a brilliant coffee, therefore very happy to recommend it for this use, also try for tea. Thanks Stephen

My filter section has broken (the ball bearing has come apart) - is it possible to buy this as a replacement part?

The lid for the flask part on mine broke while on the bottle and wouldn't come off. Emailed Asobu which they agreed to replace under warranty... Until they found out I lived in the UK, they basically said as I'm outside the US they can't supply parts. I showed amazon the email and they replaced it free of charge
