Pioneer PL-990 Automatic Stereo Turntable

I bought this product after a disastrous experience with cheaper Ion turntable.This product turned out to be everything I had imagined - high quality and sturdy. This turntable is fully automatic - just place the record, select the speed and the disc size and everything else is automatic.The only piece missing is built-in speakers. You need to connect it to an external amplifier. Also, the RC cable provided for connecting to external amplifier is too short. However, the sound quality and the ease of use makes up for everything else.The price is a bit high but I feel the product is worth it considering the poor quality products that are in market

Pioneer PL-990 is my fourth Turn Table after ION Classic Wood,Sony-PS-LX300USB & Audio Technica-AT-LP60BL-USB.This is the Best TT in 15K-20K range.Sound Quality is superb in this range.Plus point is it’s having Stroboscope window for judging 33/45 speed & if required we can adjust speed by given knob which other TT don’t offer in this price range .Its fully automatic TT so just keep record,press Start Button & relax with your favourite music.You get full value for your hard earned money.I Highly Recommend Pioneer PL990.Im fully satisfied.

Very good product. Good sound quality. Good finish. Moneys worth. Automatic function is very useful. I would recommend this product. I am still using my old LP records bought from 1978 to 1985.

VFM turntable with superb sound !the speed adjustment feature in-built is great ! [only found in pro- turntables] , which is NOT there either Marantz or audio technica turntables in the [< Rs 20000 range]great packing from Amazon.inOnly thing missing on the unit is headphone out - but since i knew it before ordering it so not a big deal .Rest all good ! God Bless!update :this turntable is a crap !looses speed too much !have to constantly dial the correct way to have speed adjustedthe stylus is not a good one - crapped out after heavy use with vinylsit sounded great! as long as the stylus was ok - now searching for service center to get the stylus fixedGood for entry level vinyl enthusiast but not rugged , loosing speed constantly and stylus is very fragileBe sure to rip the vinyl to pc on first use - do not tax this too much else stylus 'd crap outgo for something better !a Direct-drive turntable with Bluetooth , headphone out , easy speed adjustments , user - replaceable cartridge & stylus , usb and rca port and optical out includedAND AVOID THIS CRAP TT LIKE A PLAGUE!

The best in the price range. Indeed its value for money product.I have connected it with Marantz NR1509 and results are excellent.

I bought it for my parents ,they loved it .Easy to use and sounds great.Little bit expensive but nice .

Definitely better than Audio Technica AT-LP60

Confiei na marca sabendo que eles fazem TD há muito tempo. Esse não é top de linha deles, mas é um intermediário perfeito. Se você não quer um TD simples sem contrapeso, mas também não faz questão de ter um super high-end profissa, entao pode considerar esse. Se tivesse controle de pitch seria perfeito

After changing the cartridge to Shure M97xE, I am very pleased with the sound quality and clean high quality design. I wanted a record player with start and stop buttons, which I have heard can develop problems. I hope it lasts 40 years. Some people don't understand that 100 dollar USB turntables from Sony, audio-technica, etc. despite having good reviews on amazon, are not good record players and are basically toys. I understand that audio-technica makes great cartrdige/needles but, I was glad an item like this exists because it is of the same quality as turntables that were on the market in the 1980s. It always seems to me that most turntables people are happy with in the present day are not good turntables and that there are not a lot of good options currently. This turntable is great for the art of listening to music and doesn't require you to jump up and take the needle off the turntable as it has auto-return. It is also good that it has a start button so that vinyl beginners in the house can put on records without damaging them.

This turntable is exactly what I wanted. Being able to connect it directly into my surround sound was a bonus. The sound of my LP/S is amazing.

Built and works as advertised. Good quality for the money. Super easy to operate
