I picked up a champion 60 gallon 5HP 2 stage compressor with a 3 phase Baldor motor. I paid 250 for the compressor and a single phase motor would have been $500+. This phase converter was extremely easy to wire, I went with 7.5-10 HP as recommended and runs my compressor well, off a 30 amp 220 circuit. I got the compressor cheap because of the 3 phase and after some maintenance and cleaning I have a like new compressor for about 600 total including phase converter that will last my lifetime. Hopefully the converter lasts as long as the compressor does. Recommend this if you have a need for 3 phase power.

Nothing about this piece of junk is worth my time to tell all how poorly it worked in my shop. It made motors run slow, run with vibration never before experienced and one motor, a 1 1/2 hp Baldor motor, fried while on this idiotic excuse for a phase converter. It is in the box and going back today. What an enormous waste of time. Do not buy any of these products from this company. Pure Junk, plain and simple ... garbage, costing me time and a blown up very expensive motor. What a joke!!!!! I bought the protection plan too, I wonder if Amazon will refund that amount as there is no way on this earth I would ever try another.

I had a small commercial building with LARGE single phase only service. Problem was the 7-1/2 ton HVAC Air Handler only comes in 3-phase. Installed and it works perfectly. I did price this type phase converter two years ago and the price at that time was markedly higher... I was almost afraid to purchase at the lower price... but as it has been up and running for 2-months with zero problems I wholeheartedly recommend. Make sure to size correctly and somewhat "bigger is better" when it comes to these.

This device is a snap to set up and it's worked very well on an air compressor system contained with in a large wine press. We have had some issues with it tripping the external thermal overloads. I'd be concerned if I were using it on a non adjustable or internally protected motor. I'd also be very cautious on a highly used motor. But for an intermittent use machine it works well.

This product does everything that said it does I would recommend over sizing voltage rating seem to be steady. No increase the amp draw. Not 100% sure about technical service. There was no need to call them however, the book that came with it explained everything in great detail.

I bought 2 of these and they failed for the intended job. They actually ruined 2 compressors that I needed 3 phase on so they cost me a great deal. Also the company is of no help at all. Do not buy!

Starts an old 5hp compressor with no trouble. Causes some flicker in the LED shop lights while the compressor is running. Runs about as smooth as can be expected from split phase power.

After having problems with a MY-15 and contacting support, they figured that I over-dimensioned & needed a smaller unit. Less $$ :-); Some tech questions were answered very speedily and to the point. All in all I'm very satisfied with their product and particularly service. Great Job guys!!!

Poor product. Rated for 7.5 to 10 ho motor. Can’t even run a 2 hp.

solo funciona bien y "eficaz" para motores sin carga, vaya sin nada atado a la flecha, tu desbalance de cargas va a ser extremo, unicamente lo usaria para motores muy pequeños y con uso esporadico.

仕事で単相200Vしか供給できず、三相の動力ポンプを使用しないとならない状況の時に使用。 ダメもとで使ってみたところ、見事にポンプが動いてくれた(笑) ダマしで位相を作っているためか、負荷が起動している時だけ3端子に200Vずつ印加する様。(無負荷だと各々の端子に200Vが印加されない) これなら、仮設で単相3線式100Vさえあれば動力電源も使えることになる！！
