This is a nice functional clipboard that works well. The clipboard is a fold over design which helps protect your documents while being stored in the clipboard. I found the clip to be sturdy and securely holds your documents. The body of the clipboard is covered in plastic which makes it something that could be wiped clean easily. I did find that the overall structure of the clipboard is a bit thin and does flex more than I would have liked it to, and have deducted a star from the rating because of that. In use, the clipboard works well, but the flexibility is an issue if you are using the clipboard without a table for support. The plastic covering does not feel particularly sturdy to me and makes me worry about the overall longevity of the clipboard (and I deducted another star because of that). The fold over cover is useful for helping to prevent prying eyes from viewing the documents held in the board and helps protect the documents when storing them in a bag. Overall, its a functional clipboard that could be better made and stiffer, but it does work.

Good design, with both sides having either a clip or a plastic slot to hold a reasonable number of A4 sheets. Lightweight so no feeling that you need extra muscles to carry it around with. Happy to recommend. My only two minor issues preventing a 5* review are that the plastic of the hinge is quite thin and past experience with other folders suggests that over longer periods of usage (months to years, so not short term) the plastic will split leading to seperate halves; and that the loop for the pen isn't recessed (could have used the curve of the hinge area to slot it into a bit more) which means there is a bit of a bulge when the two sides are closed with a pen inside. Minor issues though and generally a good product.

I often will have items in front of me that I will be testing and I like to make notes about certain features on a product that I like, or things that I think will be of interest to the person reading the review. I would usually just use scraps of paper and they would sometimes get mislaid while moving the items I am reviewing on my desk. So I wanted somewhere to keep my notes safe and secure - hence the clipboard. This is a nice A4 sized clipboard. It can be used 'closed' as just an A4 sized clipboard with papers/notes held under the clip, or you can open it up (making it then A3 in size) and use the clip once again to hold papers/notes under it, or use the clear plastic wallet in the left side of the opened clipboard to hold papers and notes. There is a loop on the inside that can be used for holding pens/pencils, although it must be noted that if you do use that loop for holding pens/pencils, the clipboard will not then shut fully flat. The clipboard clip is very strong and snaps shut securely when you let it go. The clipboard clip should be capable of holding up to 100 sheets of paper, although I have not tested this claim by the manufacturer. I have however, quite happily secured a 50 sheet A4 notepad under the clip. There is also a pull out hanging hook at the top of the clip that then makes it possible for the clipboard to be hung on a hook. Thanks to the clipboard being made from PVC, the clipboard can be used outdoors in wet weather and then easily wiped dry once back indoors.

Good quality and simple clipboard with cover. I use the clipboard for record keeping when I am inspecting bee hives - so having a simple untextured cover is important as it means I can quickly and easily wipe the cover clean (as I need to wear gloves when handling the bees). What I particularly like is the fact that cover almost fully closes even with a pen in the holder (see photo) which is something that has been a bug bear with other clipboards in the past. This means that the records stay reasonably safe inside while I am doing my work rather than the sheets blowing around because the cover will not close. So overall I am pretty happy this this clipboard
