On many occasions throughout the history of the Catholic Church, God has provided visible proof of the invisible reality of the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. In her book , Eucharistic Miracles, Joan Carroll Cruz documents 36 such miracles which occurred from 800 AD to the present day. This book tells of consecrated Hosts which have visibly turned to human flesh, have bled, levitated, and which have become hard as flint when received by a person in mortal sin. It details the official investigations that have been made into these miracles by scientists throughout the world, and where some can still be venerated today. Eucharistic Miracles also recounts miraculous Eucharistic phenomena in the lives of saints: saints who lived with only the Eucharist for sustenance, received Communication miraculously, or experienced raptures, ecstasies, levitations, visions, locutions, and more. Pictures and photographs of the miracles, the churches they took place in, and the people involved are also included, adding the final touch to a comprehensive, detailed, and extraordinary overview of these miraculous happenings. Eucharistic Miracles is a superb compilation of God's visible testimony of the truth of the Catholic Faith, proving the reality of one of its loftiest mysteries โ the Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist. Review: A great book however, all the pictures are black-and-white! - While being factual, everything is black-and-white, especially the pictures which I wish were in color is not poor with color pictures. Review: Beautiful historic recounts - A beautiful history of personal historic encounters with the True Presence of Christ!

Everyone should have this book and give a copy to a Non-Catholic
Every Catholic should own this book and give a copy to a Non-Catholic. I have kept it in my library and given it to many. When I give it to someone, I encourage them to read the first miracle, which is so awesome. It shows that communion / the Eucharist really is the actual Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. All over the world, of different centuries, the Eucharistic miracles all show a human heart in travail (body) and blood type AB. Jesus died for amazing love of me. He is God, and looked down through history and chose to die for me. Amazing Love. I'm grateful for His miracles of His actual Body and Blood. This book helped me to find and see a few of them. They remain awesome for me. I highly recommend this book!

Wide coverage
Thorough coverage of uneven material. Rather than organizing by dates, it would have helped to have miracles grouped by type (visions versus deeds of protection; lost or stolen Hosts versus miracles on the altar, etc.)

Must read!
Everyone should read about these miracles, which have been happening for centuries. If you don't believe before you read about them, you will afterwards. No fake news here.

A necessity for any Catholic
This is one of my favorite books about the sacrament of the Eucharist. The book has such a wide variety of topics ranging from historically documented occurrences, phenomena that have happened in the presence of the Eucharist, and itโs presence in our lives and the lives of many saints. This book will make you completely rethink your relationship with the Eucharist and leave you in awe of the ways Christ chooses to reveal himself in it.
