Do the lozenges have the same medicinal properties as the honey?

The lozenges contain Manuka honey plus other ingredients. In this sense, it is not pure honey and may not have the same effectiveness as eating the pure honey. But they do work on my ticklish throat. They soothed my throat and stopped the ticklish coughing. Hope this helps.

Why is the daily intake limited to 5 times a day?

I didn’t realize that was the case. I usually use gingins and turn to these when I’m feeling particularly scratchy or ill. Manukah honey is medicinal although I doubt there’s enough in these lozenges to cause harm.
