The kit comes without instructions. That isn't a problem though as you should easily spot the appropriate connector for your brand of jet washer. There was one that was a perfect fit straight onto my Karcher K4 with no issues or leaks, and there was a connector for my professional V-TUF V7 pressure washer. There is even a spanner and PTFE tape to ensure that the connector on each end of the hose is a secure fit. I tried it on both of my pressure washers, but used it in anger with the V-TUF pressure washer. There are two nozzles drain unblocking nozzles that go on the end of the 30-metre hose. One jets forwards for unblocking and the other jets sideways for cleaning the walls of the drain you're working on. I only needed the latter because the drain pipe flowing from my kitchen to the manhole where my drains meet the street sewers were flowing slowly. I'm careful not to put fat down the sink, but nevertheless both fat and soap can cause a build up over time. This cleaned out the pipe in no time and I was able to see debris flowing out of the other end of the pipe to the street sewer. My only difficulty, and it's not specific to this product, it's going to be the same with any hose like this, is that the hose can kink and coil up on itself. Therefore it's worth spending time unwinding and straightening out the hose before use. This is a good quality kit with that represents great value for money, especially when you consider the alternative of paying for an expensive drain jetting contractor to do the job instead.

This 30M high pressure drain pipe hose is ideal for our difficult to access outside drains. It is very robust and fits well on our Karcher 4 pressure washer. It’s high 5800 PSI means that we don’t need to worry about pressure strength and it has dine a marvellous job of clearing a recent blockage in our outdoor drain. The spray nozzles do different things, one sprays forward to clear blockages and the other sprays backwards to clean the pipes. Both assist the hose pushing through the pipes. The 30M length of the hose makes it very versatile, as it’s long enough to use inside when the pressure washer is outside, so can be used in any drainage situation in our house, which is brilliant! The hose as packed is packaged in clear wrap with the fixings in the centre. There aren’t any instructions, but a quick look at the product page tells you all you need to know and it’s straight-forward to attach to the pressure washer with the fixings provided. Worth the investment rather than lay a professional to do the same thing. Five stars.

The quality of this hose and its fixings appears to be good. 30m should be more than suitable for most domestic uses. Note - this is not an extension hose. This hose converts a Karcher gun or other suitable water sources to one of the two enclosed jetter nozzles. No instructions are provided with the hose, so it is really hit and miss working out what adapter is for what and where they go. Bothends of the hose have the same threaded connector. A jetter nozzle is connected to one end of the hose and a suitable adapter is used to connect the other end of the hose to a pressured water source. In the case of a standard K2 gun, the gun is connected to the 2 as normal. The gun nozzle is removed and replaced by the enclosed black attachment, which is in turn connected to the hose. A range of adapters are provided to be used with different guns or other source connections. Everything worked fine when connected to a K2 gun. There are some limitations. The hose is too wide to fit through the grid on most domestic plugholes. If your plughole is the type where you can remove the cover and gain access to it, then that is OK. Whilst the hose is reasonably flexible, it might be too wide to be able to go round tight bends, such as found in domestic sinks / basins traps or where tight 90 degree bends have been used in the standard width waste pipe. If you can gain access to a pipe, either by an access point or undoing part of it, then it should be is to jet out kitchen sink waste pipes and clear out the accumulation of grease etc. Whilst the hose can also be used in the standard UK undergound 4 inch sewer pipes, it will not be so effective, especially if trying to clear a blockage. Certainly nowhere like the high pressure jets used by drain unblockers.

This high pressure cleaning kit comes well packed and contains everything you need to get you started. The cleaning kit is compatible with the Karcher series K2 - K7 pressure washers and I can confirm fitted my K2 perfectly. It really is great to be able to use this additional bit of kit with my Karcher, which has served me well with car cleaning and patio jet washing, but this kit gives it a new dimension and will save a potential call out for drain related blockages. At 30m the reach is good and enables you to get into more remote areas to remove debris and blockages. It comes with an array of different nozzles to use for different scenarios in the home. It’s easy to set up the cleaning kit with your Karcher, despite there not being any instructions included. It’s very well made with quality materials and looks extremely durable. If you are looking for a comprehensive drain cleaning kit to enhance the use of your Karcher, then this is certainly worthy of consideration.
