Very, very pretty and flattering dress. Since losing weight, this is the first time I’ve been able to wear such a dress Was true to size imperfect for my Christmation to be becoming orthodox.

The dress is very nice and well made. Fits a little big but it’s ok.

This is an inexpensive quality lace dress. Except for the sleeves, it is fully lined with a pinkish-taupe colored stretch fabric. The black lace material is also stretchy, but it looks every bit synthetic. While it is comfortable to wear because of the stretch factor, the 2 fabrics don’t breathe, so body temperature wise, it wasn’t comfortable. The moment I put it on, I wanted to take it off. The main issue I have with this dress is that it isn’t flattering to the figure. I had the EXACT same reaction as another reviewer. Rather than a shapely look, it presents a frumpy appearance when it’s on. I tried it with a black lacy belt to give the illusion of a waistline, but even that didn’t help.😔 It’s marketed as a “romantic & elegant”, formal dress. Unfortunately, in my opinion it has a cheap, knockoff look to it, that doesn’t flatter the figure. I’m sure there may be some out there that will love this dress, but sadly, I am not one of them.😕 When it comes to price, I would not have a problem paying $50 for a dress that was worth $50. For me, this dress is definitely on the lower end of quality & value, so I can’t get behind that price tag. A bargain dress, but not a bargain price. Again, just my own opinion.😐

Upon seeing the photos of this dress, I immediately thought that it would be one of those magical dresses with a super flattering fit. It just seemed like that kind of dress to me. It is not. I mean the dress is fine, very comfortable, but not at all particularly flattering. It also seems to run large. I dont know, I just felt frumpy in it and I felt like it aged me about ten years. Im sure there are people that it would look really good on but apparently, I am not one of those people

A surprisingly elegant dress that fit well in is fashionable on a budget. Given the price I was worried about how well this would fit but the cut end up being perfect.

There is nothing wrong with this dress so I can't tell why I don't like it on me. I ordered my usual size (large for 36" bust, 32" waist, 39" hips) and it fits as expected with the sleeves a bit too long for me and hem hitting just above my ankle. It is as comfortable as a synthetic fabric can be--the fabric is clingy and hot stuffy feeling but also stretchy. The lace is continuous on the body of the dress--no waist or bust seams to add definition but also no seams to irritate the skin in those areas. The liner fabric is a sort of almost purplish pink. It doesn't match my skin tone (I've never seen someone that shade) so I thought it would look strange but it doesn't. It might be more noticeable on darker skin tones but the lace covers all the edges so the strange color isn't obvious while wearing. The square neckline is a bit high which you can see on the model but the waist looks better on the model than in reality. Overall, I had hoped it would work but between the lack of shape and the color of the lining, I don't like it enough to have it tailored to fit.
